Moore looks like the weak link on the line.  Why not put Chucks to LT and play someone else at RT or look at a FA like Fisher to play RT?

First off, Fisher not the answer. He's thinking of reiring. And they don't have someone to play right tackle that would be better than Dan Moore at left tackle.

Hi Gerry, kudos for your long hours of work keeping us informed on steeler info! Was Bill Cowher, while coaching the Steelers considered as friendly/ accessible to the media? Also, was he a players coach?

The Steelers always play to win and have defied the system that rewards mediocrity with higher draft picks by always being competitive. It has spoiled we fans! All these calls for Tomlin's head, with whom 'we will. never win another Super Bowl,' will turn to cheers should we end up with a top-10 draft pick. I'm not a defeatist, am I?

If we hit rock bottom and lose to the Jets in another embarrassing display of incompetence, do you think it could be time to just let Kenny Pickett take the reins and learn from the resulting trials?   If this happens, we don't really have anything to lose, right?  I think Ron Cook could be right.

Hello Gerry. thank you as always for the chat. Please help me understand Tomlin' s logic for not going for a QB change. Everyone knows that Trubiski is a stopgap guy. It would be one thing if he would be winning because you say that why mess up a winning combination. Trubiski has severe limitations like not throwing in the middle or throwing on his left. Even if we win against Jet , what does it will even mean because of the tough part of the schedule coming up? If you say that Pickett is not ready than why not give Rudolph a second chance.  You mentioned that in preseason that they were trying to see if what they have is above the Mason line . Other than mobility , is he really above the Mason line as Mason can rightly brag about most accurate of the bunch , specially deep shots. I just do not get it , other than being a stubborn or making it an ego thing. Thank you very much .

Hey Phoenix, I'm impressed you remember what I said in the summer about the Mason Rudolph line!! The Steelers made a decision a long time ago this was the direction they wanted to go, with a QB with mobility, until their No. 1 pick was ready to play. Tomlin has said a million times the Steelers are in the business of winning games. If he thought Pickett gave them a better chance to win right now, he would play him. Even though you might not think it, he knows a whole lot more than all of us

Many think that Trubisky is playing QB in a straitjacket without 'permission' to check out of a play or call an audible. Is this right, or are the rumors of him never able to read a defense the reason?

Obviously Tomlin doesn't read his own press clippings if he did he would know the world wants Canada out and Pickett in. At what point does the frustration of the team with the play calls and mediocre play at QB fuel a change. If not by Tomlin, maybe by Mr. Rooney giving a subtle nudge,

I believe the game plan has been and continues to be second half of season for Kenny P to take over, the offensive line will be playing as a unit longer and should allow a rookie to come in and be able to play a little more comfortably behind a more unified unit.
