The Steelers would not only balk, they'd faint.

Hi Gerry, Was the 3-0 start just smoke and mirrors with the "elite" Steeler defense luckily playing against rusty / rookie / crippled quarterbacks? If Joe Flacco tore them up what are the remaining bottom third quarterbacks they can beat? Maybe Daniel Jones and Deshaun Watson? Maybe? Will Dak Prescott tear them up on Sunday?

I don't think the first 3 games were smoke and mirrors, just like I think you shouldn't judge the team based on one game -- whether they win or lose. It's one game

Is it time to fast track roman Wilson?
Gerry Dulac
10:39
That sounds nice but it aint happening just yet

Counting this season Tomlin will coach the Steelers for 4 more years. Please talk me off the ledge that the next 4 seasons will somehow by some miracle be better than the last 7.

Gerry,I don't understand all the speculation on the return of Russell Wilson's return,  What has Fields done to go back to the bench, other than tweaking the fumbling,  with our o lines unstable, he's played pretty good football

I don't disagree.

Shane Steichen offenses regularly beat Teryl Austin/Mike Tomlin defenses like they're ringing a bell. Will this be a blueprint for other NFL teams now?
Gerry Dulac

Well, the Colts scored 30 unanswered points last year against the Steelers in a 30-13 victory. And they scored the first 17 points on Sunday. According to my math, that's 47-0 over a five-quarter stretch

Gerry  When the NFL admits it made a mistake as in the Fitzpatrick penalty do they still fine players/and or coaches who publicly and vociferously criticize the refs?
Gerry Dulac
10:42
The NFL didn't admit it; Tomlin said they did

Good Morning Gerry, who is to blame for the exchanges?  Is it the Center or the QB?
Gerry Dulac
10:42
All five botched exchanges, dating to the preseason, have involved Fields. You tell me

Last week was a tough pill to swallow.  The Steelers should have won that game but between shooting themselves in the foot with turnovers and the officiating, too much to overcome.  Now the question... If it was your call to make, who would be the starting QB going forward?
Gerry Dulac

I would start Justin Fields this week. After that, I'd go week by week until it was time to make the move.
OK kids, we're out of time. Have to head to the locker room. Let's do it again next week
