Hi Gerry. Is the constant blame for poor communications on defense really a lack of talent and poor coaching? All of which are Tomlin's fault.

Seems like the fan base is down on Connor Heyward but I don't get it.  He's mainly a good special team player who also has some, albeit limited, use as 4th Tight End.  That adjustment and catch he made for a TD was a nice play.  Seems like fans like Killibrew but is almost the same player but on D.  Am I missing something?

Mornin’ Gerry! How many points will the Steelers offense have to score on Sunday night to win considering how bad MT’s defense has been playing? Although I have been a Tomlin fan (the head coach) I’m growing weary of Tomlin the DC. Same problems year in and year out. The defense has been retooled many times and we always hear the same old catch phrases “unleash hell”, “Historic” etc. Will Art Rooney ever come to the conclusion that it’s the coaching?

While the loss in Cincinnati was unnerving, as you look across the league, there are plenty of parallels to the loss. Phi losing to the Giants (Thur prime time/division road opponent). KC loss in JAX (prime time on the road). BUF loss to ATL. Unexpected losses by supposedly good to great teams. Do you feel the same that it’s just another difficult loss or is it more on Tomlin’s historic record of similar losses that is just unacceptable to where they believe they are.

It not only happens every week in the NFL, sometimes it happens two or three times every week. Just like the week you referenced. Yet Steelers fans believe their team is impervious to such happenings

Gerry...you would think that When Mr Rooney pays $160 MILLION to a defense that was so hyped in preseason and if it continues to show the same collapse tendencies/communication lapses as last year, that this would give pause to awarding the defensive genius head coach a contract extension this offseason, right?   Nevermind stupid question!

Hi Gerry. Is all this talk of a need for a WR2 overblown? With Austin coming back, a talented pool of TE's and Wilson emerging, do they really need to worry about adding another WR?
