And there ya go....

Kenny Pickett or Aaron Rodgers - who is a more realistic option as the Steelers QB next year?
Gerry Dulac
11:28
It's not Rodgers.

After convincing road wins in Baltimore and Pittsburgh are the Bengals now the favorite to win the AFC North?
Gerry Dulac
11:28
Right now they are. But I still like the Ravens

Good morning Gerry.  Serious question.  How many more years can HCMT go without winning a playoff game, until the Steelers let him go?  He has gone, what, five years without winning a playoff game.  You thoughts?
Gerry Dulac
11:29
I'm not sure the Steelers are ever going to let him go, not unless the bottom falls out completely

Could Ebron be on the trading block since his snaps have gone way down with the emergence of Freiermuth? Any other Steeler worth dangling out there to get a draft pick or 2 down the road?
Gerry Dulac
11:30
Yes. He is the most likely candidate to go before the trading deadline. Not saying he will, but he's the one who makes the most sense because he's the one who has some marketability.

Do you think Devin Bush bounces back or is this what he is? Just a guy? He seemed to be really good last year before he got hurt. He just looks so blah out there.
Gerry Dulac
11:32
I'm willing to give him a pass because of coming off ACL surgery and early-season groin injuries. But what I don't give him a pass for is being in the wrong gap and mental mistakes.

11:32
Do you think Ben will want to play another season?  If yes, do the Steelers would bring him back for another season?
Gerry Dulac
11:32
No and no

Can the Steelers run the ball on the Browns Sunday or will the Browns stack the box to force Ben to throw the ball early and often?
Gerry Dulac
11:32
That's what we'll find out
SteelNerd
11:32
Do you think depending on where we're picking Colbert and Co would be willing to move up if they think they can get the next franchise QB? Likely have to give away a future 1st to do it.
Gerry Dulac
11:33
No. I'm not sure that guy is in this year's draft

Gerry:  For a team that claims to not live in its fears, isn't that exactly what the Steelers do?  On offense they are so afraid to use the intermediate or deep middle that they allow 9-10 defenders to be close to the line of scrimmage to shut down the run and short passing game that they want to utilize.  On defense, they are so afraid of giving up the homerun now, that they get gashed with the run!
Gerry Dulac
11:33
That would be living in your fears, yes.
Jack
11:34
Do you think the steelers will trade anyone before the deadline and if so who and will they trade for anyone and if so who and what would they give up
Gerry Dulac
11:34
I think they might be more interested in acquiring a player rather than departing with one for a draft choice.

Does JW seem to be getting more snaps at practice compared to previous weeks or is Ray Ray getting more?
Gerry Dulac
11:35
I'm not allowed to comment on practice snaps

Hi Gerry, is there any update on Ben's hip or his general health?  A couple weeks back he said, "everything hurts". I am hoping that the bye week rest was helpful to him and others.  BTW, The whole "C" patch is silly, unless it were attached by velcro
Gerry Dulac
11:35
He said today the bye week was very helpful for both his shoulder and hip injury.

At this point, do you think any of Green, Moore, or Dotson will be long term solutions?
Gerry Dulac
11:36
I think that is apparent, don't you?
Joe
11:36
Did the Steelers make a mistake in NOT placing Tuitt on Pup?  They would have paid him regardless, but this year would not count if he never comes back.
Gerry Dulac
11:37
I don't think they're worried about money, just when he'll be back. That they didn't do that means they expect him to return sometime soon.

The last time the Steelers went five years without a playoff win was 1967-1971.  Bill Austin was the head coach.  Mike Tomlin shares this "low haning fruit" with a one and done NFL head coach.

Very good point Phil

11:37
Hi Gerry. Do the Steelers have the capability of stopping Cleveland, and later on, Baltimore's, rushing attacks? Their DL and ILBs seem overmatched.
Gerry Dulac
11:38
If I had to say, I would say not really
Chris Parker
11:38
Hi Gerry - any new updates on Stephon Tuitt’s injury? If not, do you think there will be more information coming later this week?
Gerry Dulac
11:39
There will be no more information from Mike Tomlin, I can tell you that. What I will tell you is he is very close, physically, to return. That doesn't seem to be an issue anymore
The Real TPHunter
11:39
Are you surprised that the receivers seem to be more of a problem than a solution to the offense's mediocrity this season? Except for Johnson, rarely does anyone flash.
Gerry Dulac

It seems that many think that Zach Banner will be a huge upgrade, eventually, over Chuks. I get hes a likable guy, but what has he done to earn this praise?
Gerry Dulac
11:39
Pay this guy too!

What's the O/U on sacks by Myles Garrett this Sunday?
