Gerry, thank you for the chats.  I believe that I read yesterday that the league has agreed to add yet another playoff team should there be more COVID related cancellations.  Is this correct and if so, how will that work?

Hi Gerry. In case some games get cancelled and therefore 16 teams in playoffs. Will The Steelers lose the bye even with the best record in the AFC? Do you agree with that? So many effort for nothing!

I'm not sure of that. Have to check on that today. And I don't agree. But I think this scenario is based on many games being cancelled and there is no 16-game season.

He restructures it all the time, but I hate to tell you, the Steelers will be unable to keep both. And even Dupree knows where the money is going -- to a new contract for Watt.

Juju Smith-Schuster has been fantastic the last 2 weeks.  Has he put himself in the free agent signings for this Steelers offseason, and if so, who is the odd man out?

Actually the last 3 weeks -- 22 catches, 245 yards, big third down conversions, tough catches. And I have never doubted whether they would re-sign him. He is their Hines Ward

Comment on contact tracing: On the field does not count. They wear GPS and anyone who was with McDonald for more than 15 minutes is considered close contact from what I have been told. Doesn't male a lot of sense but it is what it is.  Not sure if it goes on to see if they were in masks or not.

I know Tomlin has a "no practice no play" type of rule but if Ben tests negative twice and the doctors ok him to play hard to see Tomlin leaving Ben on the bench right?
