Personally, I think it's best if the Steelers lose a game or two. Then they are not carrying the burden of an undefeated season. Heading to the postseason, they are better off at 14-2 than they are 16-0. Considering, of course, they still get the first-round bye

Due to the virus, season ticket holders do not have tickets this year, How are the 5000 tickets available for purchase and if there will be fans at the super bowl  will there be a lottery for season ticket holders to attend the event?   To date no information has been provided by Steeler organization.
Gerry Dulac
10:09
I don't know that answer. Season ticket holders do have opportunities to buy tickets to games if they didn't opt-out this year

Good morning Gerry what do you think about the play of chase and Spillane this season so far
Gerry Dulac
10:10
I don't think I have to answer the question about Claypool. His play speaks for itself. And I have no problems with Spillane. Is he Bush? Of course not. Neither is Avery Williamson.

Are you going to do a feature article on Ben or during the radio pre game I'll read or tune in for SURE love your analysis :)
Gerry Dulac
10:11
You are just going to have to be patient. Thanx

Why was the muffed Bengals KO not a safety?  Also Ray Ray continues to bring it out of the EZ on kickoffs.  Wise or trying to make a play? I despise it w potential penalties or start pre 25 yd.
Gerry Dulac
10:12
Because it was a muff, not a possession. And I don't have a problem with him trying to run it out, so long as it's no more than 2 yards deep. But, look, I get it -- too much potential for penalties on returns.

Has Ben or others close to the team provided any insight into the greatly reduced number of interceptions, especially when passing game is becoming more relied upon weekly. It's awesome to see, just wondering why so much improved. Thank you!
Gerry Dulac
10:13
That's credit to Ben. Of course, there is some luck involved, just as there is bad luck involved sometimes when there are interceptions.

I saw some commentary that suggests that the sheer mass of the lineman playing today make trap schemes (looking back to the 70's schemes was the comparison) nearly ineffectual.  What is your view on this take?
Gerry Dulac
10:15
I'm not qualified to speak to that subject -- Tunch and Wolf are -- but I concur with the observation. Bigger guys don't move as well as the linemen from the 70s because they weighed around 260-270

Balance, Balance...... we will not have a running game this year. My prediction is, we will win the AFC championship with 50 yards or less from our running back’s, which will be the first in the NFL history... Our OL will protect Ben if we need 5 yards or 10 or 30.... Ben is our man.. we have the best WR’ & TE’s which is as good as any running back! I am all in with Ben and his arm.. and for MT and KB I’m on their train... Full speed ahead...

Gerry-   Ravens play Titans Sunday then Steelers 4 days later.  Steelers lamented when the tables were turned a few weeks back.  Big deal or not?
Gerry Dulac
10:16
It's all part of an NFL season. That lament didn't bother them last time, did it?

I hear what you are saying with regards to Ben's value but what if it means being able to keep a player like Juju?  Ben also wants to win Super Bowls, why wouldnt that motivate him to extend and take a discount to keep key players?
Gerry Dulac
10:16
Would you take a discount so your boss could pay another worker?

Against Dallas Joe Haden returned a punt...any reason for that ?
Gerry Dulac
10:17
They had their regular defense on the field because they were watching for a fake

Hi Gerry. What's the protocol for a playing coming off the COVID list?
Gerry Dulac
10:19
It depends if he tested positive or was merely exposed. Ben and Vince Williams and two others were exposed, so they had to wait five days and have back-to-back negative tests before they coudl return. Vance McDonald, who appears tested positive, has to be out 10 days and show no additional or exaggerated symptons for 72 hours after that 10-day period before he can return.

How did Gentry grade out?  I don't think he was targeted at all and you would think at 6'8" he would be an ideal receiver.  Can he block ?
Gerry Dulac
10:21
I don't know, but he hasn't played much at all so I wouldn't expect him to be too involved in the offense. He was used strictly as blocker.
Where’s my Clark Bar?
10:21
Gerry, do you know how well McFarland can pass protect?
Gerry Dulac
10:22
No because he's not in there in those sitiuations. And when he is he's usually out as a receiver

How to defense a hail mary...one defensive player launches a teammate into the air to knock down the pass. It's illegal for blocking kicks but I don't think a hail Mary situation is covered in the rules. What think you ?
Gerry Dulac
10:22
Not allowed to launch a teammate

Is the Run Defense suffering because of the constant outside blitz, or maybe the injury to Bush? Also feels like our pass D is getting better. Could that effect the run D?
Gerry Dulac
10:23
Bush injury doesn't help, especially runs outside the tackles.

How are the 10 receivers picked in the draft before Claypool doing?  Any idea?
Gerry Dulac
10:25
Really the only two with better stats are Justin Jefferson and Tee Higgins, though neither has as many TDs as Claypool. No rookie does. In fact, I think only one or two other players in the league have more TDs than Claypool

Good morning Gerry. This is not a team specific question, but I like the changes to the practice squad and flexible IR rules brought on by COVID. Do you think these will continue in the future?
Gerry Dulac
10:25
We'll see how long the pandemic lasts, but maybe

Gerry, I understand we need to fix our run game. But I’m truly hoping we don’t start overcommitting to it (I’ve seen this movie before). Get back to balance and the true threat of a run...we’ll be fine. Thoughts?
Gerry Dulac
10:25
You don't have to worry about that, trust me

regarding Ben’s "backyard" play calling. Is it happening more than we hear and also should they let Ben call the plays sooner than later in the game?
Gerry Dulac
10:26
No, I think you're hearing about it as much as it's happening. It's apparent when it does. And Ben has the freedom to change or audible any play he wants.

4th & 1 next time. Empty backfield or jumbo w Watt leading?  I say keep in hands of best player (7). Thoughts?
