Anthony McFarland suddenly seems to have super fast burst qualities that alot of other 5'8" backs around the league are demonstrating, like Pacheco for the Chiefs. What are the chances the Steelers keep him on the active roster to see more?

He has always had that "super fast burst," but when Harris and Warren are both healthy he will likely get sent back to the practice squad. By the way, I'm not sure I've ever seen a back run harder faster and with little regard for his body than Isiah Pacheco. Poor bugger will probably have a short shelf life in the league because of it

Would love to have Mason back as QB2 next year but after the way he’s been treated by the fans, media, and Steelers, would he tell them to get lost?

How would grade Kenny P’s performance at this point?  C+ to me.  Seems just above average.  Accuracy and pocket presence not good enough but hopefully he can work on those.  Thank you .

I think that's fair. If the bottom line is winning, then no better than a C, maybe lower. But that's what is going to happen with a rookie quarterback. It is not fair to judge him based on a rookie season. They are judging him on other more tangible aspects, like handling pressure, pocket presence, command of the offense and in the huddle. And I'm sure they are thrilled with all that.

Gonna be tough. After the bye, I though they would finish 5-4 in their last nine games, which would be 7-9. The wins would be Saints, Colts, Panthers, Raiders and Browns. So far I'm on track

Best thing to do this week on special teams is to just kick off out of bounds every time and not let Cordarrelle Patterson even once touch the ball on special teams...correct?

I feel like the OL is performing better than it did in preseason but still has a ways to go to be where they should.  I like Cole, Daniels, and Chuks.  Left side is the problem.

If a legit LT like Paris Johnwon isn't available at our 1st round choice do you think we could draft the NW kid, who should be a stud LG and maybe move Chucks back to LT? Can find a RT in draft later on or FA

I don't think you will see them draft a guard that high if they think they are going to move him to tackle. If they are going to draft a lineman that high, it will be a LT who can play LT

Gerry, you do fantastic work.  Call me crazy, but isn't 5-1 down the stretch possible to get this thing to 9-8?  Very winnable games left on the schedule.

Yes, the schedule is in their favor. The only team with a winning record the rest of the way is the Ravens, whom they play twice. The Falcons and Panthers games will be the key

None other than you're seeing a unit that has stayed away from injuries and is using that consistency to develop cohesion and work in concert with each other. That's the biggest thing. The production of the run game is proof.

D. Bush is awful.  How many tackles he had mean nothing if they're past 5yds+.  He hides from contact and is perfectly happy getting blocked.  He would not see the field if he played for other head coaches.  He's not 'the best we got', he's the worst we got.  My question is: why does Z. Gentry EVER get to touch the ball???!!!
