Roberts was a starter and they knew Wilson was going to be an every-down ILB with Queen. So he moved on where he could be a starter. Harrison was brought in to be a backup. He's a solid backup

We continue to get run on roughshod. If your best DL is 36, highest paid and has 1.5 sacks can not be a good sign. Fully understand all the off field good things he does.

Do you think there has been a slight overreaction by fans in recent weeks? We are currently 6-6 with 5 games left. Baltimore twice, Dolphins, Lions, Browns. 10-7 might get you into the single elimination tournament.

I think 10-7 wins the division, if they can get there. But that means they have to go 4-1 in the last 5 and I don't see that happening. Maybe 3-2

If by playoff production you mean wins, well, he has never been involved in a playoff victory. If you mean personal production, I'd have to go back and looks. The fact the Steelers have been outscored 63-0 in the first quarter of the past five playoff losses doesn't speak well for anyone on defense.

Gerry, good morning.  If you try to summarize all of our issues, does it come down to talent evaluation and understanding what it takes to compete in the modern NFL?  Coach T looks at his preseason D and thinks it will be historically good when it turns out to be historically bad.  How can this be?  Our last 13 draft picks round 3 or better have only produced a few winners (Troy F, Zach F, D Harmon, D Washington), some undecided (JPJ, B Jones, K Johnson, P Wilson) and the rest are clear misses or no longer with the team (Pickett, Pickens, Leal, Benton, R Wilson).  If you go back to the 21 draft, Harris is gone, Pat F is MIA in our offense, and the K Green experiment.  Seems like we mismanage personnel and get too comfortable with past accomplishments versus current performance.

a – Hop off to work for another team or the broadcasting booth
b – Diet and exercise
c – Stop moonlighting as defensive coordinator
d – All of the above

Since the passing game is just dump offs and short passes anyway, I’d like to see Will Howard start the rest of the year. If he shows franchise quarterback potential, the Steelers can have a huge draft next year withou trading up for a QB. What have we got to lose?

When A.S. was in TN, Tannehill seemed to throw it all over the yard and  88 has been filed in a missing persons report with PPD.  Does MT have that much say and or control in offensive scheme?  or has A.S. lost his way and the offense is simply incompetent?  BTW... great see ED B. make a guest appearance with Batko.  CHEERS!
