It was a good one because it significantly upgraded the other CB position. But they could still really use a good route-runner who can gain separation coming out of breaks.

If Russell Wilson and other signings, maybe George Pickens, tighten up the Steeler's salary cap next year, which Steelers being paid high salaries might be possibly considered for surprise releases or trades?

Well, they will likely let Dan Moore and James Daniels go in free agency, so that will save quite a few pennies. But I don't think you will see any Pickens extension handed out before the 2025 season

Good QBs always seem to score in a prevent zone defense so why do we do it instead of keeping with what was working decently before ????

That is always the age-old question. Some people think a prevent defense should be called a "prevent you from winning" defense

Do you think Broderick Jones is playing better because his elbow is better now ? Or is just a progression of his game ?

I'm not sure. He has never blamed the elbow for anything so I'm not going to use it as the reason why now

No. I like DJ, but the Steelers traded him for a reason. It wasn't like he left in free agency. They got rid of him

I don't think any player is 100 % this time of year, but he is healthy enough to play and start. He is the starter after all.

When he played the Peyton Manning Colts Belichick told his defense to be aggressive with the receivers and not worry about penalties because in the long run they would contain and slow down the offense. Could this be Tomlin’s thinking with Porter?
