Rudolph was drafted to be Big Ben's successor. He had a chance to play with mixed results and some young QB mistakes. Why not give him a chance now, since, by all reports, he 'won' the QB competition two preseasons ago. What are his major liabilities that outweigh Trubisky's tendency to throw into triple coverage?

I'm not sure the coaches would agree with some media reports at training camp. But when they signed Trubisky in free agency and drafted Pickett, that sealed his fate with the team. And I'm not sure he was ever viewed as Ben's successor.

Has Faulkner ever even interviewed for an OC job anywhere in the past?  If he is good at his job, he certainly would have received interest from other teams (even more so since he satisfied the criteria of the Rooney Rule).  If nobody else wants him, shouldn't that tell us a lot in the offseason when deciding on a permanent OC?

Is part of the Steelers decline the gradual retirements/firings/leaving of longtime coaches in the organization? Some of our assistants got their start during the great success of the team during the 2000's. Or should this not matter?

When are we going to see some discipline to players from Coach Mediocre. Specifically why is Dionte Johnson continually putting on inappropriate displays without reprimand from Tomlin?  The lack of discipline on this team  is clearly evident by the missed tackles, showboating, bad blocking, poor special teams and still lousy play calling. Why no discipline?

Belichick has been exposed without Brady but he still can scheme a defense. Tribusky is more prone to turnovers than Pickett. Do you anticipate a conservative offensive game plan by Pittsburgh?

Come on Tomlin, it’s time to take the training wheels off your experienced backup qb and your 2nd year 1st round pick qb and let them play big boy football.  I know Pickett hasn’t thrown any interceptions in forever but he hasn’t thrown many touchdowns either.  Kinda like MT hasn’t had a losing season, but, well, he hasn’t had a playoff win since said 2nd year qb went to his high school prom.  Geez louise, Gerry, this is getting old.

In Cardinals game Steelers often had very manageable second downs and then failed to take advantage of that by running on 2nd down.  Overthinking play calling and no real offensive identity. No wonder they can’t score more than 10 points against one of the leagues weakest defenses.

How much more evidence do we need that the coaching has been sub par this year.  Special teams have been a liability.  WR coach has not developed talent or managed it well.  OL given all off season moves has been underwhelming.   Gerry the issues are numerous.   Get the fan base ready for more step backs.
