Hi Gerry.   Are our receivers really that poor at running routes that they are seemingly never open? I watch a lot of football and I see other teams having receivers open on a fairly consistent basis.

Other than special teams, why is Connor Heyward ever on the field? As a TE, Washington is a vastly better blocker and receiver. As a FB, Warren is a vastly better blocker and runner.

Gerry, if it were you would you go for it and play not fully-recovered players from injury the next two games and try to win the division or would you play it safe and rest those players taking a healthy squad likely to Houston as a fifth seed?

Because they had to get another receiver. It reminds me of that scene from "Christmas Vacation" where Mr. Shirley, Brian Doyle Murray's character, is trying to get rid of Clark Griswold from his office and picks up his phone and says to his secretary, "Get me somebody. I’m growing increasingly concerned about the team and the offense in particular. Russ has consistently under thrown the deep ball this year, which I can’t unsee because it was a historic strength. Leaving aside the Bengals game (Pickett also had a historic boom when playing that defense), it appears the output has actually gotten worse and not better for weeks. Do you get the sense there is growing caution in ownership and the building, or are they happy signing up for a repeat of the later Ben years? What would cause them to radically reconsider their approach to the offensive side of the football?

Hello! Is there a reason why we do the pitch run plays? That starts the play 5-7 yards deeper and they rarely work and essentially cost us the game last week. Those should be thrown out of the playbook, thanks!

I get your question, but that's not a fair conversation. That's like asking how the Minnesota OC would do without Justin Jefferson. Or how the Dolphins would do without Tyreek Hill. When you lose your best receiver, you're just trying to slow the bleeding.
