Where would you rank Sunday's loss in the pantheon of painful losses? I'd put it behind the '94 AFC championship. Top 5?

Worst regular-season loss at home I can remember. Biggest range in emotion -- thinking you lost to thinking you won to losing, all in span of 58 seconds. And I agree with SD loss in AFC title game. Only difference, that ended the season. There is still plenty to happen, plenty that can be accomplished. Time to move on, boys and girls. Let me add this, if the Steelers beat NE on Sunday and ended up facing them in the AFC title game at Heinz Field, everyone -- and I mean everyone -- would be fretting and sweating and bemoaning how hard it would be to beat Brady and Belichick in a rematch.

Gerry, Pats came to our house beat up, on third road trip in a row, coming off a Monday night game and we still could not beat them.  Should I have any confidence we can beat a rested Pats team in Foxboro when it really counts?

Hello Sir, thanks for your time.  A lot of blame to throw around on the last minute of the game, but bottom line, Ben needs to know to throw that ball out of end zone and we have a tie game. Merry Xmas

Hi Gerry, thanks for your time.  This loss hurts big time, feels worse than AFC Champ game. That being said , I really feel like our coaches blew a great opportunity to finally beat them by not being prepared after the call.  Seems inexcusable not to have 2 better plays called.  What are your thoughts? Thank you sir. Merry Xmas

It was a draining defeat because of the manner in which it occurred, but time to move on and look forward to what still can happen. Last time I checked, they were 11-3, tied for best record in the league, about to get a first-round bye and hopefully get Antonio Brown back for the postseason. There is nothing about which to despair. If you would have been elated if they beat the Patriots, how would you be feeling when the Patriots come back here -- honked off, determined and seeking revenge -- in late January. Time to move. Wait and see.

Pessimistic Paul still assumes we'll get another shot. My hopes are now on Jacksonville to deflate the Cheatriot machine.

11:28
And that could happen. Same with Baltimore. What if Brady gets hurt? Or Gronk. I've seen this play out before.

Gerry,  Why did they change up on covering Gronk in that last series? 2pt conversion was a joke.
Gerry Dulac
11:28
They didn't change

When in Atlanta, which course would you most want to play:  [ ] PEACHTREE, [ ] East Lake, [ ] Atlanta Athletic Club OR [ ] Atlanta Country Club

East Lake. Thanx for the golf question and a respite from the NE questions

Let’s not forget the NFL is all about money. Gronk should have been suspended 2 or more games for his actions in Buff. He shouldn’t even have been on the field last Sub which in turn would have meant a PItt W. Do you feel that Gronk got 1 game because NFL wanted him there for biggest game of year vs Pitt? So NFL really hosed PItt even more last Sunday if you factor this in along w the catch rule.

Save the conspiracy theories. No. Do you really think that???

I think it was the last Ravens home game, I saw usage of both JJ and Vance in tandem. If healthy, do you see them going with a 2 TE package for the playoffs? Man, they have so many options!
Gerry Dulac
11:30
They do that all the time.

I'm weary of everyone always defending Tomlin and hailing him as a great coach. He might be just that 6 days a week, but on game days he's a bad coach. I had time during the review to make a sandwich and use the bathroom but he didn't have time to figure out a couple plays in case the call was overturned at the biggest moment in the biggest game of the year? Pitiful.

13-3. 20-4.

Hey Gerry, love all the work you do for the Steelers. Since you think the AFC title game will be at Heinz Field, who do you think the Steelers opponent will be?
Gerry Dulac
11:30
I'm not that prescient.
John
11:30
AFC title game at Heinz Field anyway? Between Steelers and Baltimore?
Gerry Dulac
11:31
Could very well be.

Do you think we have seen the last of shazier?

We have this year.

Back to 25-30 carries for bell since AB is out to secure these last 2 wins and bye week can't afford to slip up with Jacksonville playing well.
Gerry Dulac
11:31
I guess you haven't been watching what Ben Roethlisberger has done the past six games and the way the offense has responded to that. You kidding?
KJ
11:32
It was great to see Martavis Bryant step up in AB's absence on Sunday and his one-handed catch was fantastic! Do you see a restored confidence in Ben throwing to him against the Texans and Browns?
Gerry Dulac
11:32
They're hoping it's more of a restored confidence in himsell, which you can see happening little by little

What are the biggest risk factors in the Houston game?  Steelers have lost to serious dogs before, including to Houston in 2002 (that one was crazy).

Too much eggnog night before
