There are none with Vander Esch, despite what you read. And I don't think there are concerns as much as it is teams doing their homework and double-checking medicals before the draft.

Was surprised to see 1999 1st round pick Troy Edwards is the rookie reception leader (61 Rec - 5 TD).. Would you consider him a bust? And what was the reason for his short stint in PGH? Thanks

Two years ago, on the network for whom he works (CBS, Bill Cowher listed his all-time worst draft picks and at the top of the list was Troy Edwards. I was surprised by that for the reasons you mentioned and told him so. He explained that Edwards was such a high overall pick (11th I think) who just never had an impact commensurate w his draft position.

Maybe, but not earlier than 3. If they take one before the 3rd round, that will tell you something about their plans for LeV Bell.

If all the students in a class fail the final exam are they all idiots or did the teacher do a lousy job explaining the material and checking for understanding throughout the semester? Joe Haden's comments indicate that after 17 weeks of the regular season and two weeks to prepare, the defense did not know their assignments and had no idea who was supposed to be covering who against Jacksonville. How is this not a coaching issue?

I wouldn't be surprised if they traded up say 4-5 spots to get an ILB they like. That is a big hole in their defense and they know it.
