Just a tad optimistic I'd say. But I think the addition of Ogunjobi and the development of Loudermilk will help ease -- not make up for -- the loss of Tuitt. that's a big loss. And the depth at LB -- outside and inside -- just isn't very good

Gerry- I'm a SVC grad and listening to some of these players whine about Rooney Hall is ridiculous. Spent 4 years in Bonaventure Hall. I would've cut my right arm off to live a palace like they are in for the next few weeks. Crybabies.

Hi Gerry - I know the Steelers live family ties with multiple siblings on the roster. Do you think they are calculating to an extent? Keeping Trey Edmunds until after Terrell resigns? Paying  D. Watt over market as an extra incentive for TJ to sign? If so, does it annoy them when their brother is released?

It shouldn't because they've given their brothers an NFL roster spot and paycheck for several years. Someone not going to be happy this year. Either TJ Watt or Cam Heyward.

Gerry thanks for the time and the great chats. Am I being pessimistic to think that despite attempts they made to improve the O in the off season it won’t matter. The change most needed was at OC.  We’re still going to be throwing swing pass behind LOS on 4th and 11. Only difference is we’ll have a more mobile QB to throw the ball to Najee

Thanks for the chats, Gerry!  One stat 'Yep' failed to note: Trubisky's 2018 season rushing, 68 attempts for 421 yards, 3TD.  Big Ben last year, 20 attempts for 5 yards, 1 TD.

None whatsoever. I jokingly asked Minkah if he needed some riding lessons. He said, "Training wheels." He's fine.

Alos, FYI, Alualu said his knee discomfort is no big deal and it's not the same leg that sustained the season-ending Achilles injury last year

No because nothing has happened. Let's wait till they get on the practice field with pads, which won't be till next week. Changes should be cause for optimism. Way too early for pessimism.

That's what they are going to find out in camp. But that's the idea. See if he is an upgrade. He doesn't have to go far to be that.
