Basically Bell isn't showing up out of concern for getting hurt.  Doesn't seem very Steeler-ish to me.  Could you ever picture Jack Lambert not showing up because of being afraid of getting hurt? Or Mean Joe Greene?

One other question Gerry.  Why can’t Tomlin give a running back regardless who he is (Bell, Connor) a breather. It’s just STUPID to use 1 running back who had 31 touches in the first game. Especially when you have an 8 year vet on the bench.

That was AB's first game after missing all of the preseason stuff. Give em a little time to get more in sync. He did have nine catches and a great TD grab

Are sacks a "team effort"? The secondary, LBs and line working together? While Dupree isn't a multi-faceted player, he certainly contributed in a very meaningful way....no?

Yes and yes. Not to take anything away from TJ Watt, but one of his four sacks came after TY Taylor ran into Javon Hargrave and another came when Watt just happened to be the last guy chasing him when he ran out of bounds for a 1-yard loss.

Any way the Steelers can stop Hill and Kelce from running wild on Sunday? If Haden is out, that has to be a big concern.

I think they will be ready. Go back and look, Hill has not been a big factor in any of their meetings. Kelce is an annoyance.

I have been a supporter of tomlin over the years, but the continued issue with off the field drama and underperforming against bad teams is starting to take its toll on my fairh in the organization. Do you think the rooneys are addressing either of these issues with tomlin or should we just get used to the drama and losing to or tying terrible teams?

You or anyone else should never have to get accustomed to some of the drama that has engulfed the team the past couple years. It is up to the coach to address it and handle it. Of course, it's tough when the coach goes on national TV and all but guarantees a victory against a team that it won't face for another month or two

Forget officiating. That happens every game. No doubt, Conner's fumble turned the game around. Too bad, too, after the way he played.

What exactly happened on Roethlisberger's INT that he threw deep downfield with AB nowhere near the ball (he was at least 15 yards away from where it was thrown)? What that a miscommunication between the QB & WR? That was BRUTAL.

Quick $$ comment on Bell. He was offered $30M guaranteed. DJ got $30M and Gurley got $45M. If Bell sits out until Week 10 and Pitt does 2 week exemption and no pay, he misses out on $10M. Odds are he won’t get more than Gurley in FA in 2019 based on his age and baggage, so this all could be to make $0 - $5M more than what Pitt offered. Do you know a good $$$ manager for him as he has bad advice?
