Weird player because he's not a good catcher and the bat doesn't really support regular left field run. But between the tolerable offense and the ability to catch on occasion, he's a fine big league bench player

That's a bold one. I'd at least listen on any reliever because of the volatility you mentioned, and the offers should be really strong, but I'd put the odds of a trade actually happening under 5%

Even rebuilding teams are reluctant to part with plus closers when they're controllable for this long. Royals held Scott Barlow forever, Pirates won't move David Bednar, Reds didn't consider Alexis Díaz last winter
It's obviously an even tougher sell for a team that wants to compete
