Billups just compared Wagner to Mehmet Okur and it made my night.
Ted
9:15
Who do the Lakers pick to set up their pursuit of LeBron? If Mo Wagner is Memo Okur, that's pretty nutty!
Austin Kent
9:16
Putting the LeBron pursuit aside, I think the Lakers are kinda like Philly in the sense that they have their stars, now they just need to surround them with the right complementary players.

L’ol Perfesser

Robert Williams is gonna fall to the Dubs and it’s gonna be great. He can’t score but doesn’t need to on that team. Blocks shots and rim runs. And is at a minor salary. Him and Bell are gonna log 40+ minutes for $3M a year. The rich get richer if that happens.
Ted
9:18
I'm still SMH over the trade of Timofey Mozgov. Kupchak, what are you thinking?
Austin Kent
9:19
Definitely an ominous start to the Kupchak Era... but he pretty clearly had a mandate to get under the luxury tax... and he did so without punting Kemba Walker so MAYBE (maybe?) it's not as bad as it seems?
I'm relatively high on Dwight Howard. Still.
Connor
9:19
Now that Wagner is off the board, the Celtics will take Musa right?
Austin Kent
9:20
Imagine another lights our perimeter scorer in Boston? Good grief. I guess they can afford to stash him.
Ted
9:20
Austin, you think Mo Wagner is a good fit in LA? Then they are moving on from their previous bigs like Randle.
Austin Kent
9:21
I simply love Randle, I think he's very underrated. I think he could be a very sufficient starter in this league.
The Sixers just drafted Landry Shamet at No. 26, btw.
9:23
But in LA, I think you could still start Randle and that Wagner could be a nice back up big guy with range, like Channing Frye
TJ
9:23
Friend I'm watching the draft with said Shamet reminds him off Denzel Valentine.... Anyone agree? I'm not seeing it but that could be the alcohol
Austin Kent
9:24
That and another Ringer comparison; Seth Curry. A low ceiling shooter.
Here we go, Boston at No. 27.
9:25
Mike Schmitz' on camera game has improved since the lottery. ;P
Connor
9:25
Boston should take Williams because there’s more value in GSW not having him when the finals come around if nothing else
Ted
9:27
How tough it must be to be Seth Curry in the NBA. Hopefully the dude continues to work hard and keeps it going. Given who Dallas has in this draft now.. he's got his work cut out for him.
TJ
9:27
I miss Fran. Where's Fran?
Austin Kent
9:28
I believe he's on The Jump with Rachel Nichols tonight.
The Celtics just took Robert Williams at No. 27. It actually happened. Wow.
9:29
I like seeing players with supposedly questionable attitudes land in solid situations, hard not to work out when surrounded by vets like Al Horford, coaches like Brad Stevens and major brands like Kyrie Irving. Lots of inspiration there.
Ted
9:29
Man, Robert Williams could do great in Boston with Brad Stevens' coaching.
Which Fran? Fran Vasquez? :)
Austin Kent
9:30
Fraschilla. The warlock that cursed Bruno Caboclo.
And if you're on Twitter, you should give @HoopsRumors a follow.
TJ
9:31
With damn near every club having their own GLeague affiliate what's your opinions on adding a round or two to the draft?
Austin Kent
9:32
I'd love to see this. Especially with the one-and-done rule on the way out.
Ted
9:32
Bruno Caboclo may not ever do anything. I predict the Raptors will cut him after his rookie contract ends. It's fun to contrast him to say, Clint Capela. They sort of started out the same, but Clint is just dynamite. We're all looking forward to his 2018-2019 season.
Austin Kent
9:33
The Raps dumped him on Sacramento. They got Malachi Richardson back in that deal.

But yeah, that was not a great reach.
Just my opinion
9:33
Just followed u on Twitter Austin.   This has really been a GREAT CHAT
Austin Kent
9:34
Thanks!
The Warriors just took Jacob Evans at No. 28. That's a solid swingman.
I just don't question anything they do...
9:35
Brooklyn is up at No. 29 and apparently they're exploring trade possibilities.
9:36
