Geno talks a lot after losses. He'll talk after wins, too, but only if he played an important part; doesn't want to hog the spotlight. So, sort of, but not totally. Geno doesn't like to talk on gamedays, which is fine. Talks some practice days.

Yeah, I think that's reasonable. I forgot Sheahan in my previous post. Put him at 4C, Rowney to wing, scratch/trade Hagelin or Reaves.

Sure. But they would have to throw in a sweeter, a significant one and not Carl Hagelin. Would have to premium picks/prospects, I'd think. Bjugstad is a tremendous player, IMO.

Do you think the Penguins have or will put any thought into waiving Hagelin? I'm 99.9% sure he wouldn't be claimed, but sending him down and calling up DiPauli (who plays a very similar game) would net you a 400-500k cap benefit.

If they waive him, it doesn't save them any money. He's on a one-way contract, and you're DESTROYING his trade value by doing that. Plus, you're taking someone out of your regular PK rotation. Best case if what they're doing: Play him with good people, hope he picks up some points and get the best you can for him, if anything; likely, you pair him with an asset such as Ian Cole.

No. He'll be called up soon. Rutherford told our Sam Werner two days ago that he's very close. I think it happens within the next few days, honestly. If they don't win/score tonight, look for Sprong to be here by Saturday.

Yes, absolutely. That's a friendly contract. I like Sheary, but he's not tremendously versatile. You only get plus value from him when you play him with Sid. That's different than, say, Rust or even Guentzel. But another team might see 20-plus goals, young player, $3 million and think they can make it work.

Possibly. I'm not sure they ever really believed that Jarrod Tinordi was going to make an impact at the NHL level.
