No, they're used to it. Especially someone like Brassard, who's on his fourth NHL locker room. There are logistical concerns, sure, but not nervous or anxious. New teams are generally very welcoming.

Also, Gudas was clearly trying to play a puck in the video.  Right before the contact, you can see him looking down at a pass and backtracking for it.  He's an idiot, but no way he was trying to hurt him.  If anything it was a stupid drill to have him playing a puck while Courtier was flying down the ice near him

Regardless of how smart or dumb the drill or its location might have been, you need to look where you're going and pay attention to what you're doing. Gudas did neither.

I know every professional admits publicly that they love the city in which they play, but how much does Phil adore the 'Burgh? Is he genuinely loving it and happy here?

He likes it. He also likes Toronto. I think Toronto might take the cake. ... Should also be honest and say we don't get a ton of personal interaction with Phil. It's generally scrum and scram for him. Not saying that to be critical. Just that if I pretended to know a ton about him personally, I'd be lying. That goes for all of us.

Yeah, I do. When Sprong emerged, I wrote if he kept this up, they could think about moving Phil. Obviously that hasn't happened with Sprong. At this point, with Phil coming off a career year, you keep him.

Do you see the Pens actually winning an ECF series against Tampa or Boston? They both seem as good if not better than the Pens right now? Flyers are not much of a test as to how the Pens are....

I absolutely think they have a chance. I'm not going to say they can't. I think they get deep in the Eastern Conference final. From there, it's probably a toss-up. Hard to say because so much will happen between now and then.

No, I don't. It's not perfect. It has its flaws. But I think the majority of the time it ends up being the proper penalty.
