If I knew the answer to that question, I could make a lot of money. And just think: These are the most highly rated ones!

Hi Jason
Any issue with Hagelin? Is he still with some injury or it's just a coach decision?
Jason Mackey
1:46
Coach's decision. I don't think he's 100 percent, but from what I've seen, he's healthy enough to play should Sullivan want to use him.

How do you see Preds PK shutting Pens PP down? Seems to me they're targeting 87 since many times it runs through him down low. What can Pens change to fix it?
Jason Mackey
1:46
I would try to run the power play through Kessel. Get the puck to the other side of the ice. Get Crosby down low. Try to find some open space behind the goal. Crosby is the best in the NHL in that area.

I know hockey players can be gossipy, so, which pens player, past or present, would you trust most to keep a secret?
Jason Mackey
1:47
Hmm, another good one. Among the most legitimately decent humans I've covered, two stand out: Sid and Cullen. So one of those two.

i watched the video you and sam did and i completely agree with you Hagelin was someone i wanted to protect when the season started but now it be a godsend if he was taken by vegas just to get rid of the cap hit.
Jason Mackey
1:48
Thanks for the feedback, HB. The way things are going, though, I don't know how they could get Vegas to take him.

If the pens beat reporters faced off in a WWE-style wrestling match, who would you want to face and who would you pick to win?
Jason Mackey
1:49
We actually had a version of this conversation at dinner early in the postseason. Only it was a Royal Rumble style of match. We didn't determine a winner. I like my chances, though. And Sam Werner would be first out.

P.k. subban guaranteed a game 3 victory. Should the pens just stay home?
Jason Mackey
1:49
No way. If they're going to lose, fine, but at least go to Nashville for beers, hot chicken and BBQ.

I feel bad for Tom Kunackle, he was playing well before leaving the line-up and now seems to have disappeared. Have coaches lost faith in him?
Jason Mackey
1:52
I don't know about lost faith, but there's just not a lineup spot for him at the moment. I still think he's a part of this team's future.

what are the odds that Guentzel breaks the rookie playoff goal scoring record?
Jason Mackey
1:53
The way he's going, I'm not going to put limits on anything. When he's hot and playing with Crosby and potentially seeing some power play time, there's no reason he can't. Especially if Nashville is able to extend this series a little.

Is there anything in the most recent CBA preventing the Pens from paying a bonus to Pekka Rinne and if not how would paying a bonus ti Rinne impact the Pens salary cap position.
Jason Mackey
1:54
Why pay for something when you can get it for free?

Was wondering why Schultz is the only defenseman that does not play on the PK?
Jason Mackey
1:55
Because he sees so much power-play time and they want to keep his minutes reasonable. Remember, he's probably not 100-percent healthy. Also, he's probably their fifth or sixth-best PK guy. They'd rather lean heavily on, say, Ian Cole, who isn't going to see time on the power play.

Is PK Subban fluent in Russian or does he just now conversational Russian?
Jason Mackey
1:56
I have zero idea. That was a weird comment. That all of a sudden he's conversation in Russian? I found that odd, and I don't cover Subban; tough to know.

Why do you think the media so negative toward Phil Kessel (one writer thought he should be a healthy scratch)? He shows up every day, works hard and never complains. He seems like he is the perfect athlete or at least the athlete that people seem to want.
Jason Mackey
1:57
Who said Kessel should be a healthy scratch? I think that's too much. Do I think Phil needs to shoot more? Yes. He has a deadly shot, and he doesn't use it enough. And he doesn't do enough other stuff -- I'm OK with Phil being Phil -- to make him worth $6.8 if he's not providing elite-level goal production.

Will the combination of Mike Arberg and Pontus Fisher be more difficult for the Pens to contain in Game 3 with the Preds on home ice.
Jason Mackey
1:58
Might want to tell Carrie her husband has a new name.
Sexsmith
1:58
The town of Sexsmith will be holding it's annual Chataqua day parade on Saturday June 3, do you think Carter Rowney will be granted a leave of absence to attend the parade?
Jason Mackey
1:58
Somehow I doubt it.
Dwayne PghGuy
1:58
Who do you think will win Game 3?
Jason Mackey
1:58
I actually think Nashville wins. Then the Penguins win Game 4 and have a chance to clinch in Game 5.

thanks to Tishy from last season, we all know Sid loves his desserts… any chance you know what some of his favorites are??
Jason Mackey
1:59
Two of Sid's favorite sweets that I know for a fact are Timbits and chocolate chip cookies. But, yeah, to corroborate Zatkoff, big sweet tooth.

What do you think the Pens can do to get the powerplay going i think it will comeback to haunt us if it doesnt get better?
Jason Mackey
2:03
Scoring goals on it would be my suggestion.
Carlos
2:03
Why Penguins power play are so bad? It's a formation (tatic) issue?
Jason Mackey
2:03
They need to shoot more, No. 1. Also winning faceoffs. Going to have something on our site shortly on this.

Is injury or one blowout game Fleury's best chance at playing again? Love Da Flower!
