I'd be OK with Cole, Wilson and a draft pick. I doubt Toronto would do that, though. I'd be iffy on trading Maatta for one year of Bozak.

I wouldn't. Not with what he can add when healthy. And also, I think a lot of teams have some (understandable) trepidation about his health at this point. Trade might be tough.

I do not think TOR, who has Cup aspirations this season after taking WAS to 7 games in the POs last season, will want to help their biggest roadblock in the East -- the Penguins -- by trading them Bozak to address their biggest (by far) need.  Why would Lou Lam deal Bozak to PIT?

Pens have proven they can win without him and right now there's to much in the way of salaries on the backend.  Who knows you may get a legit young "D" in return.

I think your evaluation of Wilson is to underrate him somewhat. Wilson did play in the top 6 pretty successfully through the playoffs, plus has better primary points/60 than Rust. I'd like to see him get an extended run with top 6 time, especially on the basis of his potential for goal scoring based off his WBS time.

Is your evaluation personal or more of a reflection of Rutherford's evaluation?

It's definitely not personal. Not of my thoughts on guys are. I would never let that enter the equation. I also don't know where I underrated Wilson by saying I would potentially trade him. You have to be attractive to be a piece in a trade, too; you can't out and out stink. I haven't seen the consistency from him to the point where I would say he's untouchable. They need a 3C. Gotta give up to get.

A little. Not a ton. It was a lot of Sullivan. ... I don't think we're going to see any seismic changes, although I would look for them to find ways to get Guentzel more involved. I also think it will be interesting to see who quarterbacks the top unit, Letang or Schultz.
