Obviously, Henry has not caught much at the MLB level and you have discussed the Pirates bringing in another catcher to help him and Delay. However, is there a scenario where Henry ends the season as the everyday catcher just like Reynolds or Hayes are everyday players? Taking a catcher 1.1, isn't that the goal? I'd rather have my 1.1 play every day and figure it out as he goes than run a split between him, Delay, and Sanchez. I'd imagine he thinks he's capable of catching every game, but is it also a matter of pitchers' comfortability with him?

Yeah, there absolutely is. I think that's what the Pirates want. And it's why I'm not sure Sanchez makes sense. The only way Henry is going to get better is to play. If I see enough from him in spring, I might be willing to live with the growing pains, knowing there's a payoff. If I sign Sanchez, it's only going to delay (not Jason) that.

Contender for ... a wild card? The division? World Series? I think they need to add catching as insurance. But it would be more a break-glass-in-an-emergency type than Gary Sanchez, IMO.

It depends on what comes of the prospects. Say this about Milwaukee, man: They know how to find anonymous dudes who can play. They'll come up with something.

Yeah, I get your point. It hasn't been enough. Would say Castro was there at one point. Ortiz, too. They have some guys on the way. But it hasn't been enough. They know that.

Jason, you see very confident they will swing a trade for a controllable SP. I just don’t see many teams wanting to part with young starters for what the Bucs could offer. Are you saying  they turn over a rock for an Ovidio type? Which I will be estatic about. Gives us some names

Stay in a condo for ST, hotel the rest of the year. And, yes, I go to every game, home and away.
