Love you...but my point was who is our next best hitting prospect after Johnson, and reasonably, how far away is that prospect?  It might leave me believing the organization is bad at drafting hitters...

They might be. That's fair. They need to get Henry figured out. Peguero? After Johnson ... maybe Jack Brannigan? There are some younger Latin guys I like: Polanco, De Los Santos, Blanco, Suero, Delgado, etc. There's a long way to go with those guys. Oh, Cheng is another one. In Double-A now, I believe.

He could. Has the tools. Can fly. He also hasn't shown an ability up here to make consistent enough contact. But I do think he is due another chance.

As always, thanks for your time. A non-Paul Skenes question: While many Bucs are not hitting it is painful to watch Michael A Taylor at the plate. Unfortunately his defense also seems less than expected (some strange routes, no glove on ball). I have never been a big Jack S fan and I know Indy isn't brimming with OFs but is it time to let Jack (or anybody) be the primary CF?

Another chatter wanted to send Suwinski down! Look, I'd ride it out with both. I know they haven't been great, but I don't think it has been long enough to react to on either front. I might think about sending Jack down at some point if he looks completely lost, but I don't think we're at that point.

I thought this was a Q&A. Readers asks questions. You choose whether to post and answer. I find you one of the most knowledgeable sports reporters in town. But you’re also at the front of the line when it comes to self promotion. My point was Skenes’ call up I’m sure was well known internally. I’m surprised this town was not more blanketed with Skenes’ merchandise already and all I could find is a “Keepin it 100+” on the shelf. I’ll meet you at the clubhouse store tomorrow and buy you a tshirt if they’re hanging. Your tweet on Wednesday helped me get tickets at a good price. So thank you! Shouldn’t the Pirates have had a more cohesive marketing strategy with the Skenes’ call up or did this really happen so fast?

I'm at the front of the line in terms of self-promotion? Umm, OK. You're allowed to think whatever you want, but not sure I would agree there. I also post/answer every question that I can get to and/or is not vulgar/insulting. Anyway ... it was not, I can assure you. Many people were caught blinded by this, including those closest to Skenes. Only a select few knew. Social media team only got a couple minutes. I don't want a shirt. I'll probably just wear something with my face on it to keep up the self-promotion.
