I don't think so. There's nothing they could have done about that. But they could have been more outward with damage control -- reviewing policies and procedures, changing staffing levels, etc. The same for the Bucco Bricks nonsense or communicating with fans about the Clemente sign.

Jason, you do great work. I really appreciate you providing so much content in these dark times of Pittsburgh sports. It won’t always be like this… I hope
Jason Mackey

Ha. Thanks, Ben. Appreciate that.

What differences have you seen In Don Kelly's approach? He definitely seems to be giving guys like Canero and Gorski more opportunities and I think you are seeing some solid ABs.
Jason Mackey
12:56
Yeah, I think he's trying to give those guys some runway to play, which is smart. No drop-ins here and there. Kelly also seems a little more aggressive with the small-ball stuff, trying to affect an outcome.

Any job openings you hear about ? I have managerial experience
Jason Mackey

Not yet. Would imagine you go back to being a hitting coach, no?

Crosby is a saint and one of the best players EVER. But somehow, Geno with all his flaws and bad temper, etc. Is my favorite players. Am I crazy?
Jason Mackey
1:04
You're not crazy. I love how different they are. They complement each other very well. I don't know why we have to pick one, honestly.

A.I. told me it would take 2 1sts and at least a 3rd & 4th for the Steelers to move up from mid 1st round to top 5 for a QB next year. Do you think that would be worth it?
Jason Mackey
1:05
It depends on the QB you're pursuing, but I'm inclined to say no. It's why I don't think people would be vehemently opposed to a tank season. Gets you there without losing assets. Only games.
Lunch time

What is Mike White having for lunch today ?
Jason Mackey

Ha. I have no clue. How would I know this?

Mike Tomlin said that NFL players wouldn't necessarily be the best option for flag football in the Olympics. Believing there is a different skill set. Do you it will be mostly NFL players in 2028, even if its just for publicity?
Jason Mackey
1:06
Yes, I do. If they add flag football, how would you not being NFL players? FWIW, I didn't see Tomlin's comments. This is just my general reaction.

OK, folks. Looks like that does it for this week. Thanks so much for participating. Let's do this again next week!
