I think PSU can. Will they? Depends on Allar. I'm an Allar believer, honestly. I think he gets kind of a raw deal. But I agree with your point here. He hasn't played great in big games. That will need to change.
Bob Nutting's Shoes
12:36
Just for the record, Sunglass Bob pays top dollar for his footwear.
Jason Mackey
12:41
No doubt. The man loves him some Gucci and Louis Vuitton.
Seni
12:41
Its laughable since its Cherington but can you see us moving hayes for a prospect that actually hits. Yankees with a major hole at third and you know how his dad Charlie feels about it.
Jason Mackey
12:42
I actually don't think that would be a terrible move at all. I'm not saying I see it happening. I can't speak for the Yankees' intentions. But if someone would give you something for Hayes, I would do it. Triolo gives you the exact same level of performance.
TX Pressure

10-7???  You see this offense, its worse than last year.  Rodgers was the 25th QBR Rated QB last year and he's getting you ten wins when he got five with the Jets that had a much better offensive team?  4-6 wins, this team is not that good and that five game skid was alot on coaching and ultra conservative offense (no audible Russ).
Jason Mackey
12:43
Yeah, I think the Steelers will win 10 games. I think Rodgers still has something left, though not a ton. I think the running game will be half-decent. I liked the Johnson pick. Defense should be improved, too. Harmon, Black and Sawyer made a lot of sense. Don't hate the Slay signing, either.
Josh
12:43
If you had the opportunity to coach, scout or work in management, which would you enjoy most and which sport?
Jason Mackey
12:44
Depends on the sport but probably scout. In baseball. Don't have much of a desire to work in the other two in terms of that sport as an industry. I could do baseball.
Josh
12:44
Do you think the upcoming seasons for Narduzzi and Capel are vital to keeping them employed in 2026?
Jason Mackey
12:45
I think they're important data points, I'll say this. I think your buyouts are relatively prohibitive. That being said, it's another year, and I can't imagine Allen Greene will sit around forever. He's gonna want to see something. If it goes really poorly, sure, I could see him doing something.
George Pickens
12:45
why do u all hate me so much
Jason Mackey
12:45
I don't. I would have kept you. But you do create distractions.
Torture
12:45
Are the Toronto Maple Leafs fans the most tortured in North American sports ?
Jason Mackey
12:46
You've heard of the Pittsburgh Pirates, right?
the horror
12:46
You've been to Winnipeg. I've been to Winnipeg too. If Hell froze over it would look resemble Winnipeg. It makes Green Bay look cosmopolitan
Jason Mackey
12:46
It's a great place for hockey. I would never in a bazillion years take the Jets out of Winnipeg.
Josh
12:46
Any word on when Don Kelly is bringing in a bench coach? There’s about 17 Sportsnet Pittsburgh analysts he could choose from
Jason Mackey
12:47
Ha. And I don't think it'll be any of them. I'll bet it comes tomorrow. I'm expecting either Miguel Perez or Gary Green.
Ben
12:47
Social media also says that the Toronto Maple Leafs are interested in bringing in Mike Tomlin. They like the way his playoff record looks lately …
Jason Mackey
12:47
That's a good one.
Cheaters
12:47
Westminster beat St Vincent in the PAC Baseball tournament last week. Obviously they cheated. Shameful
Jason Mackey
12:47
My Titans would never cheat.
Jeff M
12:47
Hi Jason, I know Bob isn't selling. But if he did do you think it would fix the Pirates. Miami sold a few years back and nothing has changed?
Jason Mackey
12:49
It could. Depends on who would buy them. If, say, Thomas Tull bought the Pirates, yeah, I think they would be run a lot differently. I also think if you had an answer who has less tolerance or patience, things could change. As I've said a billion times, you can win on a budget, if you're smart. The Pirates haven't been smart enough.
Jeff M
12:49
Do you think for the MLB financial structure to change in a meaningful way would require an extended work stoppage? What do you think Bob was hinting at during your 1-on-1 with him?
Jason Mackey
12:50
Yes, it would require an extended work stoppage, but I don't know if I see any of that happening. Maybe I'm hopped up on pessimism or something, but I just don't see how a cap/floor/revamped revenue sharing works for enough people.
Ben
12:50
Here’s an idea - the Pirates could install an in-ground pool between their dugout and home plate, equipped with sharks with laser beams attached to their heads. Each player would “walk a plank” from the dugout to home plate over the sharks. This could help loosen up their current state of sphincter tightness before each at bat. Their knuckles are a permanent shade of white!!!
Jason Mackey
12:50
This is where we're at. Delightful.
Seni
12:50
Fill in the blanks. The pirates at the deadline move heaney, pham and ...
Jason Mackey
12:51
Move Pham where? To whom? They could trade Ferguson. If they're really out of it, maybe you think about Bart? If you're trying to get me to say trade Skenes, I'm not there with it. Not even close. I'd also think about Keller, dealing from a position of strength.
Jeff M
12:51
Is Quinn a candidate for HC? He was the only assistant Dubas said could not look for other jobs.
Jason Mackey
12:51
Yeah, he's a candidate. I don't think he's a likely one or the right one. But I'll bet they interview him.
Ben
12:51
How many hours a day do you think nutting spends googling himself? Whatever the answer, it isn’t enough! Dude needs a little more blue in his sky…
Jason Mackey
12:53
I would be stunned if Bob has ever Googled his own name.

Oh, sorry. Nutting. I refer to people using their first names ... you know, because we're human. Had an angry emailed tell me that I lose all credibility because of it. That person is obviously right, so the Dude abides.

Regarding Nutting moving the Pirates at the end of the lease, what city would possibly fund a stadium for Nutting with his track record?  It's nuts.  He might sell the team after the lease ends and the new owners can relocate.  Wouldn't that be a kick in the nuttings.
Jason Mackey
12:53
None of that crap is happening. Dear Lord. Whatever you're taking ... please don't drive anywhere.
TVC15
12:53
Could it be that maybe Aaron Rodgers hadn't fully recovered from a significant achilles injury last season and could possibly play better this season?
Jason Mackey
12:53
Yes, entirely possible. If not likely.
Travis Williams

Am I gonna be the fall guy for all the issues that have happened this year on and off the field ? That security guy wasn't our employee. He works for someone else. Not my fault
