Sorry for that, GPT. ... Agree with you on Swaggerty and Bae. I've asked and haven't really gotten much in the way of an explanation. Usually  about giving others opportunity. One weird suspicion: Could they be trying to hide those guys and sneak them through? I don't know. But part of me wonders is this isn't something they're trying to do.

Jason, is there a website that explains all the new baseball stats to "older" gentlemen like myself?  I honestly don't know what the heck anyone is referencing anymore...

Sadly, no. Best thing I would say to do, honestly, is when you see something you don't know, Google it. Google wOBCA + FanGraphs, and something will come up. Or Def + FanGraphs ... or Defensive Runs Saved. Think about the context and why that stat appears. Ask questions. You don't need to know 'em all, but they can help enhance your understanding of the game.

Yes. I can actually skate half-decently. Played two years of ice hockey, probably a half-dozen or so of dek hockey. Played a lot of pickup. Grew up playing more baseball and football, but not unfamiliar at all with hockey.
