Who's to say what Jerry Dipoto might do? I think Haniger is a worthwhile target for the Sox, and I don't see there being any obvious pending free agent options up for grabs tradewise

Were the Mets actually taking Syndergaard's rehab noticeably slowly? He had surgery in late March of last year, so it's coming up on 14 months. April or May would have been absolute best case scenario, right? His recovery timetable was actually notable more aggressive than that of Chris Sale, who had surgery around the same time.

You know, i think I mixed up Syndergaard's surgery (late March) with Severino's (late Feb). but it was still looking like a July return  (15+ months) unless everything went perfectly which is seldom the case.
