Ah! Good to know re: the B-R comps...thanks! Would you say that Altuve almost has to get to 3,000 hits to ultimately get elected, barring some totally unexpected uptick in his career performance arc? I'm not sure he'll be near the top 2B in WAR/JAWS/Peak, so seems like he'll need that milestone.

He's really in a dicey spot as far as the increasing frequency of his injuries but I don't think it's 3,000 or bust for him, particularly with the demise of the chances for Pedroia and Canó.
