It's not like there's anything horribly wrong with Gregerson
Hell, Michael Feliz might be better
Will Harris might be better!
10:07
But that was the only run Giles has allowed in his last 10 games
Gregory Polanco
10:07
Lets talk about my upside - even with my breakout this year, it still feels like I haven't touched my ceiling yet. What would that ceiling be? Top five outfielder in baseball?
Jeff Sullivan
10:08
I don't know your *ceiling* ceiling, but you've got a 155 wRC+. Let's not get greedy.

Should the Royals target Baez to fill in at 3rd? He could then move to SS or 2B next year.
Jeff Sullivan
10:08
Tough to imagine a less Royalsy player
10:09
They'll be content to roll with Cuthbert for the time being. If they make a move in July, I would guess it would be for a veteran
AJ
10:10
Could a hypothetical Teheran trade to the Rangers bring back Gallo, or is that overly optimistic?
Jeff Sullivan
10:11
Overly optimistic, especially with Gallo showing better contact ability. For Teheran you'd be getting a pitcher or two second-tier quality prospects
10:12
Teheran is a No. 2 or No. 3, and though he's on a good roll, you don't throw away the track record
AA
10:12
What do you think Sano will look like ROS?
Jeff Sullivan
10:12
a DH
Q-Ball
10:14
What would you do if you were GM of the White Sox? Clearly they have an opportunity, but seems like they need some help.
Jeff Sullivan
10:16
What would really help is more production from Jose Abreu. Clearly there would be a use for another starter although the market is thin. I wish they had a better defensive catcher. I wonder if they could take on the James Shields salary
10:17
We'll see what Miguel Gonzalez does for them -- after the chatter in spring about his velocity being down, it turns out it's fine!
Luke
10:18
Any thoughts on Scott Kazmir having the lowest Statcast fly ball exit velocity amongst qualified starters, yet having a 20% HR/FB and giving up 1.87 HR/9? May not be the ideal chat question, but it seems like a pretty interesting dichotomy.
Jeff Sullivan
10:19
I think that's about where you leave it. Interesting dichotomy. Nothing to really be done with it. The exit velocity will go up some, and the home runs will go down some, at the same time
Avi
10:19
Isn't it bad to publicly announce the limit of a SP? Because it gives incentive to the other team to try and work towards that limit?
Jeff Sullivan
10:20
That's why most teams don't go public with strict limits
JD
10:20
After tonight's start for Urias, is he going
a) back to the minors
b) to the bullpen
c) nowhere - he stays in the rotation
Jeff Sullivan
10:20
I imagine this season he's going to end up in the bullpen. Whether that happens immediately or in a few weeks, I expect it happens
Wardo
10:21
Am I crazy for thinking Aaron Nola can't keep up a 10 k/9 with his low SwStr%? Everyone's calling this guy the next Cliff Lee and I'm just waiting for it to fall apart.
Jeff Sullivan
10:21
Does it make you feel better to know that Nola has the same contact rate allowed as Stephen Strasburg and Madison Bumgarner?
10:22
Plus, he's tied for fifth in baseball in called third strikes, because of his deception. Batters don't really know when to pull the trigger
He's legit
Sam
10:22
While Dan Straily's more advanced peripherals don't quite validate his gaudy ERA, he could definitely still help a team looking to shore up the back of their rotation, right?
Jeff Sullivan
10:22
No one'll give much for him, but I could see him being moved very quietly
Q-Ball
10:23
Billy Beane is probably going to look to cash Rich Hill in, isn't he? A's likely looking for prospects back?
Jeff Sullivan
10:23
People long figured the A's could have the most interesting starter to sell at the deadline. Who knew it wouldn't be Sonny Gray!
10:24
Hill is super good, and super cheap. Seems like he'll be on the move if he stays healthy. That's a question, and his durability is a question, so it's not like he's going to get the Johnny Cueto package. But this is the guy to watch
CamdenWarehouse
10:24
How worried should the Orioles be about the Ks?
Jeff Sullivan
10:24
They knew this was going to happen. If anything, they welcomed it
Q-Ball
10:25
The Dodgers entered the season with enviable depth and real talent all around the diamond. What exactly has gone wrong so far? Do you think they'll rebound to take the NL West?
Jeff Sullivan
10:26
Everybody but Clayton Kershaw got hurt and Adrian Gonzalez and Howie Kendrick have combined for a -0.4 WAR
10:27
Even still, they rank seventh in BaseRuns record. They're getting healthier. The Giants' current advantage gives them a leg up but I'd say it' a coin flip now as to who finishes in first place
D
10:27
What do the Dodgers do with their prospect depth?
Jeff Sullivan
10:27
Cherish it
D
10:27
What's the obvious move once all dodger starters are healthy? Who goes to the pen?
