Hi Ray- AL Only, 5x5, one category is Holds .5 saves 1. any opinion of brian Baker? On hitting, does Isbel,Muncy or Loftin have any value?
Ray Murphy
12:35
Baker's throwing well, if the O's would win a little more maybe he'd get holds. Tough to see much value in any of those bats.

Christian Walker's tough season continues. Getting ugly lately (45% CT in past week) after fleeting signs of a bounceback. Whether it's a rough adjustment to the new team, a lingering injury (oblique in ST, more recently wrist HBP), the aging curve, or some combination, there's no shortage of (admittedly speculative) reasons to lose hope. Are we past the excruciating patience mark here or is he a hold based on track record? Also have Tork, O'Hearn, B. Lowe on the roster as alternative 1B options (5x5 OBP).
Ray Murphy
12:36
If you've got those alternatives, you don't need to be patient. Play someone else.

hi Ray, thank you for taking my question. #1 Would you replace one of my Polanco, Kepler, J Encarnacion on my bench by anyone of clarke, w perez, tauchman, toro, benentendi, hayes, n jones? #2 Which of these starting pitchers is the most interesting : nelson, morton, harrison, paddack?
Ray Murphy
12:37
Mentioned earlier I'd drop Kepler... Clarke, Benintendi seem like upgrades. Jones showing some recent life too.

Also mentioned earlier I like Nelson. Paddack is on a roll and secure in that rotation. Would not touch Morton.

Ray, Thanks for the chat. Saw where Kimbrell was added to the ATL bullpen. What's your best guess on him being able to get major league hitters out at a rate required for high leverage use?
Ray Murphy
12:37
Answered earlier. I'll pass.

Dylan Lee has been solid all year, setting up. His plus slider negates RH bats; in fact, his splits are better against them. Is there a world where Atlanta finally turns to him for 8 - 10 saves ROS?
Ray Murphy
12:38
He's a better option than Kimbrel (and at the moment, a better option than Raisel).

Hey Ray! Appreciate you cracking eggs of knowledge for us today. Here’s my q - regardless of league size, scoring, etc; if another GM offers you just under full value for Corey Seager, are you smashing the accept button?
Ray Murphy
12:39
I don't know about smashing, depends what I'm doing at SS etc. But I'm open to the idea this might just be one of those lost years for Seager, and willing to cash in.

Hi Ray, 16 team 5X5 redraft. Can Taylor Ward keep up this pace the rest of year or is he a sell high candidate now.
Ray Murphy
12:40
Have always liked him. But he's also shown himself to be streaky as all get-out. Take the under on 40 HR. :)
