5x5 roto mixed dynasty. The team is stacked and has been a dynasty. But we're getting older. In an effort to remain competitive I've made a series of trades:

Out: Semien, Framber, fringe keeper Jake Burger

In: McLain, Joe Ryan, Yamamoto, fringy N. Marte, Bobby Miller, C. Scott, L. Garcia (WAS)

Was this a good move? Or am I getting too cute in shipping out proven performers for younger guys with significant risk?

I think they are. He was never as bad as he showed early. I still believe in the talent. Only two home runs allowed since the break is a massive improvement

So, I would spreadsheet this out and play with different outcomes. It really depends on how many innings you have already accumulated.

I don't think streaming is a bad thing, but you need to be smart about it because a bad start is hard to work off of now with so little time left in the season

Dynasty leaguer, 18 team 6x6. A little annoyed at leaguemate. I offered Painter/JOrtiz/Amador/DL Hall + 4th/4th/5th rounder for Cease. He counters asking Bibee+Painter+Doyle. He wants young established guys. I wake up Sunday and Cease was traded for E. Perez (Marlins SP/prospect who has TJ)+ 3rd rounder. I mean if you like him more than Painter I get it, but I feel my offer was better AND I feel mislead because he played hardball wanting established MLB talent and in the end went back to essentially a top prospect for Cease within a week. Should I be annoyed? Is the trade closer than I think? Is my side bad?

Yeah, I am a bit surprised by that, but he may just be really high on Eury. The hard part of dynasty leagues is everyone values guys differently and you shouldn't blame them for that.

one thing about Blanco for SB is if you need steals that bad he gets a lot more as a pinch runner than anyone else. so you can leave him in and your counting stats may take a slight hit but your ratios wouldn't
