12 team 5x5 roto mixer- I always debate stars and scrubs vs spread the risk. How about a 3rd option. How about pony up on 2-3 studs and then look for bargains. How many studs do you recommend so you.can still pounce in bargains. Thank you

with how shallow a 12 mixed league is, you should be doing stars and scrubs to some effect. I like to load up on a bunch of $20-$30 and skip the super stud but just crush a lot of the second and third tier guys.

i know you dont have a crystal ball, but what's your feeling on colt emerson making the opening day roster? him/benge on OD rosters would make nfbc 330/400 picks incredible values even if they dissapoint some

12 team NL only roto. Last keeper is between $21 Liberatore and $1 Riley O'Brien. Going in with $22 Luzardo, $19 Lodolo, $2 Burns.  I have Iglesias to get saves as well.  Starting pitching goes for a premium in the auction and there isn't much available.  (the prices for the 3 starters listed is only because of having them since their minor league days)

How do you approach aging but still useful players in keep forever Dynasty formats? Hang on until the wheels fall off or trade them "a year early" and lose some value? Generally speaking, I know it depends if you're in win-now mode, etc

If I am in win now mode, I hold because those guys are always undervalued in dynasty. If I am rebuilding I take what I can get from the market.

Last keeper spot is between CJ Abrams (5th round), Basallo (12), Goodman (12), and Keaschall (12). 12 team league, 1 C, MI, CI, and 2 UTIL. Hitting wire is “thin” for a 12 team league. Leaning Abrams with SS dearth, just confirming.

I really like Walcott and with the injury, I think youd be selling low here. I dont know that I want to move him for anything less than a top 75 asset.

How confident are you Chourio has another level to him? I know he's really young but last year wasn't a progression for him. Do you think this is mainly who he is with some spike peak seasons or do you think he has a another sustained level of baseline for this career going forward?

I am pretty confident he does. Good in zone hitter and doesnt swing and miss too much. Maybe a tad bit aggressive which can lead to occasional slumps, but there is 30/30 potential in this bat and he is only 22
