I am a big Schwartz fan but I'll go Fabbri. I think Schwartz has a reasonable contract and you can package him to get a top line center.

Start by praying and begging Vegas to take one of them off your hands via expansion. If that fails, then Armstrong has to be smarter with signing depth players. Stastny's 7 mil comes off the books after next season. I would put money 1 of the 4 you mentioned are not a Blue by the start of next season

Wow. Hello Mr. Weinrich. The yellow tinted visors are pretty hideous. Guys wearing that would get their asses kicked in the BHL. Same should be for those that wear it in the NHL. The Golden Shower lens doesn't do it for me.

I liked naming Pietrangelo captain and I don't think the Blues would be in a different spot if it was Steen or Tarasenko wearing the C. That being said, we don't know what goes on behind close doors. You don't have a David Backes type leader that's going to go out there and mix it up or defend a teammate when things goes south.

Tyler Johnson and Martin Hanzal might be the two most realistic options at this point. Hanzal does absolutely for me. Would I love Matt Duchesne on our team? Hell yes, but do you want to see Shattenkirk and others playing in your division the next 10 years? That is the question. I think we need to alter our approach on the trade front.

Absolutely not. My raging boners for Backes and Elliott are as true and pure as this glass of wine I'm sipping on. I don't really care about Elliott's record in Calgary. The Blues do not get to where they are last year without him in the regular season and playoffs I thought the guy deserved a better shot. As for DB42, the Blues need some heart, leadership, and a physical presence in the offensive zone. Sound familiar?

Can they rebuild? Sure, but they don't have much to trade to rebuild. Are the Blues better without Steen? I think 1 shitty half of a season shouldn't put the guy on the chopping block. I would do whatever it takes to get another real center in St. Louis. Ivan Barbashev can be your 3C next year.
