Mornin' y'all

nick castellanos getting 100 rbis this season ?
Nicklaus Gaut
10:59
I think he'll fall short, even with the big(ish) June he's having. Set the o/u at 95 but I'd still take the under
Andy Friedman
10:59
Do you think Andy Pages or Miguel Vargas will stick in the Dodgers all year? That bottom of the lineup is pretty bad and I refuse to improve the bench if it means getting rid of Barnes, CT3, or Kike Hernandez
Nicklaus Gaut
10:59
Never been a fan of Vargas at all
11:00
But I really like Pages - was pretty brutal in May after the hot start but has been pretty good for about a month now
Lots of good adjustments in his swing decisions
Julio & Me & A Schoolyard
11:01
Julio Rodriguez for Juan Soto straight up? Who do you like in that offer. Where does Kyle Tucker fit in the fantasy hierarchy of Soto, Julio, & Tucker?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:01
I'd rather have the Soto side.
Also, I'm forever in the tank for him
Soto > Julio/Tucker
11:02
Personally, I probably prefer Tucker as the Astros have finally realized that "hey, maybe we shouldn't bat him 6th so much"

Matt Waldron is on a roll. Do you see a regression coming?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:04
I mean, some, as he won't keep up how great he's been since getting blown up by the Dbacks in early May - 1.82 ERA in the eight starts since - but he's a pretty solid starter right now, just with a lower K ceiling (generally)
Failed prospects
11:04
Do any of these apparently failed prospects have a chanc e to be something other than failed prospects: Jo Adell, Nolan Schaneul, Nick Loftin, Lenyn Sosa, Oscar Colas, Justyn-Henry Malloy, Lawrence Butler, Spencer Torkelson. (And yes, I have them all between my two AL fantasy teams.)
Nicklaus Gaut
11:05
Still like Loftin.
And Schanuel will be a solid asset but with a lower ceiling/slower burn
And I still can't help but think that Tork will eventually find the hitter that used to live inside of him
11:06
but he's fooled me before
over and over and over
Also, I'm sorry you have that collection of rags - that list looked pretty nice not too long ago
Failed prospects 2
11:07
Ooops. Left Victor Robles and Ben Joyce off the list.
Nicklaus Gaut
11:07
It's okay, you can leave them off ; )
Bernie Brewer
11:07
Good morning. 2 part question here. What do you see the Brewers doing with Willy Adames at the deadline, considering he’s heading for Free Agency at year end? Furthermore, who or what positions do you see the Brewers add to their roster at the deadline?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:08
What they should do is trade him for pitching after realizing that they might be winning the NL Central but have zero chance of being competitive in the playoffs
But they won't because MLB teams are rarely that self-aware
11:09
They'll likely add some mid-grade pitching around the deadline, win the NL Central, and then get swept in the playoffs
It's called the "Cardinal Way"
11:10
No I'm not a bitter St. Louis fan!
You are!

I'm in a few dynasty leagues with 300+  prospects.   There is some buzz about a few shortstops/infielders and I would love to get your opinion about them for (long terrm) contributions:   Alex Freeland, Matthew Lugo, and Kristian Campbell.  Have you heard much about them and/or they players that should be rostered in dynasty leagues?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:11
Freeland is su-uuper interesting - he's absolutely dominating Double-A after doing the same thing at High-A earlier. On-base machine that has some pop and speed
11:12
very fantasy-friendly profile

11:12
At this point would you stash James Wood in redraft leagues? (3 bench spots in my league)
Nicklaus Gaut
11:12
Absolutely

11:13
How would you rank T Pham, M Kepler, J Sanchez and S Marte?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:13
Marte > Sanchez > Kepler > Pham
Please don't tell Tommy Pham I put him last
He takes things really personally
