how was your second run with the A’s different from the first. From an outsiders point of view it seemed like there may have been less cohesion.
Jonny Gomes
10:13
The second run was a bit different we had a slide in September which was an ideal. But I still think the moves of getting John Lester and Samardzija were outstanding moves. That wildcard game was definitely a wild game

What was your favorite part of being on the 2013 Red Sox?

My favorite part of being a red sock was the simple fact I got to call a museum my office as well as play in front of a sold out crowd every night Sox nation Is Real

I 100 percent think they can make a run, The Cincinnati Bengals just lit that fire again in that area. I’m a huge huge Joey Votto fan with Joey they 100% can make a run

How big of a roll do managers play into a free agents decision?
Jonny Gomes
10:21
i’m sure everybody has different opinions on this during free agency but I think guys look at the roster more than the manager. you would like to know who’s hitting in front of you and behind you playing defense next to you and behind you as well.

What city as a visitors  player did you enjoy visiting
Jonny Gomes
10:22
I always liked going home and playing in front of friends and family so that would be San Francisco and Oakland. It was also fun heading up to Toronto beautiful city

Hi Jonny big fan of how you played the game and I wanted to know your thoughts on mlb lockout and when you think it might end
Jonny Gomes
10:23
My thoughts are it sucks but it seems like the active players are taking a huge step in making sure the game is in the right place for the next generation

If I am a college hitting coach, what is something I can invest in to make my hitters better? Any new tools or gadgets you believe in?
Jonny Gomes
10:26
Great question!! It’s very impactful to know what your players are doing during the game. You want to fix and mirror your game swing majority of the time your game swing is different than in practice. With that being said the best tool you can invest in is a in game ball tracking data collecting device. I would recommend Yakkertech the best optical ball tracking device on the market.

Thoughts on playing in Japan for the Rakuten Golden Eagles?  What were the main differences from MLB?
Jonny Gomes
10:32
I had a great time in Japan I was wearing a uniform doing my best to compete to help the ball club win But at the same time I was studying abroad gathering as much info as I could from the Japanese style of play really fortunate to bring back some of the drills the style of play and of course the memories

What was the difference in play you saw between the 2013 Red Sox and 2015 Royals?
Jonny Gomes
10:33
What stands out the most about those two teams they hated losing more than they liked winning. Seems cliché but really hard to do in a long season.
