If you're the O's, do you consider selling high on someone like John Means? He's pitched well in Camden Yards and against the AL East.
Tim Dierkes
2:45
I'd hold tight - I'm not sure that selling high on a guy like that is a thing you can do in today's current MLB climate with the GMs the way they are.  Those guys will not be swayed by a 2.86 ERA in 12 starts.

Rumors in the Twin Cities say that the Twins are on the verge of landing Mad Bum and Will Smith for a package of prospects including Nick Gordon.  I haven't seen anything on your site about this.  Any truth to it?
Tim Dierkes
2:45
No, if there was a legit report like that, we'd have it on the site.
Trey Mancini
2:45
Follow up question where am I going after the all star break?
Tim Dierkes
2:46
I know many of our readers are trying to trade the Indians' pitchers, but they'd be a great fit for Mancini.

matt boyd for kyle tucker straight up fair or too much
Tim Dierkes
2:48
I do think that's fair.

Could Tampa be a player for MadBum? Could we get liberatore in return?
Tim Dierkes
2:49
To land a 55-60 level pitching prospect for a rental is not out of the question, though I think he's around the ceiling and probably a bit too much.

Why not pay more money to trade our players for better prospects in return?
Tim Dierkes
2:51
Anyone have John Stanton's email address?  This is a question for ownership.
Kyle Tucker

By the end of July, I will be called up and  splitting OF time for the Astros. You wanna bet a chicken parmesan sandwich on that?  If so, I can already taste it...
Tim Dierkes
2:54
How about we both just eat some chicken parms?  I don't really see who Tucker would supplant in the Astros' outfield, but injuries happen.
Lindor
2:54
Let’s be honest, the Indians would be nuts to deal me.  What percentage of a chance do you give me retiring as an Indian with a HOF plaque soon to follow?
Tim Dierkes
2:55
It's a long way from five great seasons to the HOF.  Ask Hanley Ramirez and Troy Tulowitzki.  I don't think Lindor will retire as an Indian, or at least I don't think he'll play for them exclusively.

If Cubs were to acquire something like Boyd would a package of Happ, Marquez, and Steele or Thompson get you in the door?
Tim Dierkes
2:57
No, I don't think it would - that feels more quantity than quality.  I really think the Tigers need their Eloy if they're going to trade their budding ace with 3.3 years of control left.

Anyone interested in Alex Colome?
Tim Dierkes
2:57
He would seem a near-lock to be dealt.  I imagine a good 15 teams would like to have him.
Bib Bob
2:58
But sure looks like Chris Taylor
Blake

Any chance lindor gets dealt?
Tim Dierkes
2:59
There's a small chance, but the Indians have won 3 in a row and are a half game back in the WC and getting Clevinger back tonight.  They don't look remotely like sellers currently.

I know most are speculating that Frazier will be traded after yanks landed EE.   What do you think of them looking to sell high on Voit instead and build a package around him for a SP?  Or do you really feel he  is a diamond in the rough? I’m not completely sold
Tim Dierkes
3:03
Voit looks like a legit 35-40 HR bat with 80 walks...you know how many guys hit 35 HR and drew 70 walks last year?  Just nine.  453 PA isn't enough to set that in stone but I'm a believer.  I'd keep him.
AJ Preller

I know my boy Renfroe has crazy power .... 23 homers and a 2.2 war, but does he deserve an all star selection?
Tim Dierkes
3:04
He's been their best player this year by WAR, so sure!  And let's get him in the HR derby please.
Sorry I couldn't answer more - thanks for chatting!
