OK, thanks to those hanging on ... will attempt to get to some questions now; though may need to pause at some point. Let's see what happens!

Hi Brent, thanks for the chat! 11 team mixed, Do you consider Adolis Garcia and Paredes to be regulars or are their slots better streamed for bats du jour such as Bleday? Thanks!
Brent Hershey
12:11
Feel like both of those guys would be 11-team bubbles, but both are everyday players in MLB. Probably prefer Paredes slightly over Adolis (better approach) but Garcia has been hitting the ball hard and striking out a bit less. But yes, should be evaluated week-to-week along with strong-siders like Bleday.

Thanks for the chat, Brent! Shallow mixed crap heap MI options, please rank, Bazzana, Rocchio, Stott, Luis Garcia, Schmitt. Will likely keep two. Thanks!
Brent Hershey
12:12
Schmitt #1 for me for sure. Doesn't seem like he's the odd man out for now with Eldridge up. Then likely Rocchio, Bazzana, Stott, Garcia.

Brent...What is your take on the small sample size, yet stark improvement in the skills/numbers of the here-to-fore little of anything from Curtice Mead?
Brent Hershey
12:14
Cautiously optimistic. Stronger OBP than BA play, and Nats are seemingly giving him some run there. But still needs to do it over a longer term

Hi Brent,
NFBC 15-teamer. I have Reynaldo Lopez and Martin Perez. Perez was cut, then re-signed, then sent to the bullpen, then given a spot start against Seattle. Lopez is in the pen, but his numbers look good. I know Braves SP is in flux, but do you have any sense of who the starting 5 are for the Braves? Are both my guys in the pen, and, if so, who is higher in the pecking order? Thanks.
Brent Hershey
12:16
I would think Lopez is higher in the pecking order; rotation looks like Sale, Holmes, Strider, Elder and Ritchie right now. But JRR is the most tenuous. Not clear if Lopez to the pen is in fact a long-term thing. Perez's skills are not really roster-worthy in and NFBC-style 15-teamer

Hi! 12-tm, H2H, category w OBP … Is Imai worth holding over Nelson and Burrows on waiver wire? Is Teoscar a drop w Cortes, Bleday, Marsh on waiver wire? Thanks!
Brent Hershey
12:18
Would prefer Burrows to Imai for sure. Toss up between Nelson/Imai; neither excites right now. Hitters - would probably hang onto Teoscar, but Marsh is making a play for sure. Mattingly seems more willing to give him time vLHP. Results haven't been great, but maybe the daily repetition is good thing. He's been on fire of course.

Hello Brent! NL 10 team 5x5 - do I want to give Sproat a shot? He has good strikeout numbers and Milwaukee has a good history of developing pitchers  like him. I would probably have to jettison  Senzatela or Gus Varland or G Holmes
Brent Hershey
12:21
Should probably be rostered in a 10-tm NL. Senzatela is interesting, but will he provide fantasy stats is the question. Def seems like he stays a bullpen arm; question is whether saves and/or wins follow. Might prefer Sproat there. Would continue to squeeze out whatever value I could from Varland/Holmes (but constantly be re-evaluating)

Good day! We start 10 pitchers each period in our 16 team moxies with SOLDs, please pick 2 of 5 for this week: Ray who is great but at LA Dodgers and weaK rating, Bassit whe pitched better in last outing at Washington, Ty Madden at Mets, Brown at Atlanta or JoJo Romero as a SOLDs option. Thanks!
Brent Hershey
12:22
Think I'd go young with Madden and Brown. Dodgers and Nats have really good offenses

Hi Brent, Thanks for answering this question.

16 team, H2H points league.

I can start 3 of the following 5 players. Definite start: Stewart. Then 2 of Springer, Teo. Hernandez, Manzardo and Beavers. Listed in my preference but very leery about Hernandez and either Manzardo or Beavers seem better options. More the LAD manager seems to be hinting that Hernandez will be losing PT - "rest days" he called it.
Brent Hershey
12:24
I agree with your order; IE Teo and Springer this week. Manz/Beavers have not got it going yet. Could happen, but I'd stick with track record here
AL-Only
12:24
In 5x5, please rank ROS Clemens, Taveras, Zach Cole, Cowser, Wenceel Perez.
Brent Hershey
12:24
Perez, Taveras, Cole, Cowser, Clemens
Dave
12:25
One Catcher League - pick up  Dingler, Ballestros,Basallo, Moreno or  Alvarez (Mets) till Yanier Diaz comes back from injury.  Thanks
Brent Hershey
12:25
Dingler. And he may be better than Diaz when you have that choice again
Porcho Villa
12:27
Need to make a tough cut. Antonacci, Bazzana, Keaschall, Bleday. 12 team OBP, also have Sal Stewart at 2B. Hard to see cutting Bazzana with his results and contact quality so far. Same for Bleday though maybe just a hot streak. Antonacci more borderline but took leadiff spot, running more, and gets boost from 2B/3B/OF eligiblility. Keaschall has been rough aside from SB prowess but maybe coming around. Who would you drop?
Brent Hershey
12:27
Probably Bleday; each of those others are full-timers or closer to that status that JJ. If you want to cut IF, then Keaschall
Kent
12:28
What are the chances Emmanuel Rodrigues plays in the bigs this year?
Brent Hershey
12:28
Very very good if health cooperates. IOW, a big IF
Kent
12:30
Is Joshua Baez gonna hit or is he a AAAA?
Brent Hershey
12:30
Want to see him against MLB pitching first. Think he'll get that chance this year. For now, still a solid long-term play
Bones
12:31
12 team mixed OBP league. ROS Nate Lowe or Spencer Torkelson? Also Logan Henderson only in the rotation till Woodruff is back?
Brent Hershey
12:31
Tork is better suited to get ROS at bats; so probably would go there. Not a huge gap, though—Lowe has done some nice things.

I think Henderson sticks at this point
Kyle
12:32
Taylor Ward's bat speed is down 2 mph from 2025 and is in the bottom 5%. Brl% is down from 14% to 5.5%. EV is down 2 mph. He has just 1 HR in 183 plate appearances. What's your take? Droppable in 12 mix?
Brent Hershey
12:32
Still kinda early, but that list of "bad news" justifies moving on in a 12, I think. That's the right decision process, esp if you have better alternatives.
Jeff
12:33
Morning Brent, A is for “positive regression incoming” and B is for “Start getting worried” - 1 Kyle Tucker 2 Tyler Soderstrom 3 Austin Riley 4 Bo Bichette 5 Cam Smith 6 Gunnar Henderson
Brent Hershey
12:33
  1. A
  2. A
  3. A
  4. B
  5. A
  6. A

And Bichette, mostly b/c he's had stretches where he's disappointed us before. The rest I believe in

AL-only, our week runs from the 13th-19th.  Three BAL SP, Bradish (NYY, TB) Bassitt (WAS), Rogers (TB).  Who would you recommend to start, all, any, or none?  Could replace with  middle relievers.
Brent Hershey
12:34
Go with Bradish and Rogers, sit Bassitt
DrDave
12:36
Madden, K.Rojas, W.Urena and Corbin on the waiver wire.  Do you have any confidence in any?
Brent Hershey
12:36
Curious on Madden and Ureña; skeptical that the other two are SP material. Ureña's stuff buys him some interest, even though (age old story) he's not always sure where it's going. Though as I mentioned on the site today, outside chance that Rojas could thrive as a reliever in a pen that is short on stuff.
Jerry
12:39
What do you make of JJ Bleday's skills so far?
Brent Hershey
12:39
Interested; like the mutliple skill steps up though still just cleared 50 plate appearances. Cincy mostly sticking to a hard platoon—so you know pretty well when he'll play. Maintaining his revived  ct% would be BIG if true
Sean
12:42
For this season in standard 5x5, please rank Logan Henderson, Christian Scott, Connelly Early and Arrighetti
