NL only, obp.  My bench is sorely lacking.  Please rank top 3 from:  JOrtiz, ESosa, MJMelendez, Bleday, CMead, JTena.   (Looks like it will continue to be sorely lacking, but at least they are not on the IL).

Hi Brent!  12-team NL-only 4x4.  I have Joe Mack in the minors and he is being called up.  His projected R$ seems pretty comparable to two others on my team, Keibert Ruiz and Garrett Mitchell.  That tells me that Mack isn't so awesome that I have to rush him into the lineup, so I think I have time to explore the trade market a bit.  But if I did have to make this decision today, and I had two spots for these three players, who do you think I should cut?  Thanks!

Ruiz - and I think your sense on Mack is correct. Might not be a fantasy differencemaker.

Will noon Central today be the time to say adios to Luisangel?

If that's your league deadline, you're probably late.

Regarding the Taj Bradley writeup today in F&F; holding him in a 12 team QS league and i am hoping the changes he made in his pitch mix will give him some staying power. Is it possible he is developing into more of a pitcher than a thrower this year?

Yes

Chourio about (?) to come off the IL deepens my logjam in the OF. In a 14 team, 9x9, keeper league (keeper values in parens), who of the following would you be looking to deal and why? Adell (1), Delauter (4), Walker (1) Harris II (18)...

Other OF are Chourio and Lile. They are options too, I guess, but Chourio meant to be a centerpiece and Lile seems indispensable in a league that counts triples (as mine does) and on my otherwise speed-light team.

THANK YOU!

Hi Brent,  what is the order of callup for Emerson, Waldschmidt, and Crews?  Any other guys outside of Eldridge who jump the queue and are impact bats?

Have so little insight on this, as too many factors, but I'd stab at Waldy, Emerson, Crews

Hi Brent, 5x5 NL only roto... Have Vaughn coming back from IL. Rumfield in his spot. Can twist some things so my options to drop: Rummy, Jose Fernandez or Ballasteros. Can wait a few days but not long. Who goes? Thanks!

NL-only standard 5x5. I’m in 5th place, 22 points behind the top dog team, with 8 players on the Injured List; most could return in May.

I have hidden most of the injured on my bench, replaced them with poor replacement-level players. The injured are all mid-tier players, with Snell the best one. What should I do?

  1. Dump and play for next year
  2. Wait until July to make dump trading decisions.
  3. Go for it, and trade future keepers to win this season.

I’m doing middle-of-the-pack to terrible in the quantitative categories, doing fine in the three ratio categories.

Wait it out ... maybe not until July, but you have to give it some time if you've got players coming back. Good luck!
