Hi! In my 12-Tm H2H category league w HD+S … been excitedly stashing Snelling, who is coming up today, and need a drop. Not happy w my options — Bradish, Prielipp, Logan Henderson, or Sabrowski, a SPARP who leads MLB by far in HD+S w a .88 WHIP/30.6 K-BB%, and given me an advantage in my league. What to do? Would you prefer to drop underperforming Marsee, McLain or Teoscar instead?

Tough spot. I'd keep Sabrowski too. Think I'd drop Prielipp... not sure how long he's around, and he hasn't exactly been dominating since his first start.

Hi Ray, Thanks for answering this question.

20 team 5x5 league w/OBP instead of BA and 2xSv+Hold instead of Sv. We are allowed 12 keepers and 8 MiLB players. My SPs are: Bradish, Luzardo, Mitch Keller, Sonny Gray, Chad Patrick and Merrill Kelly. I am close to dropping Kelley and only Bradish and Luzardo profile as keepers.

I have been offered Emerson Hancock for Colt Emerson who is on my minor roster. Hancock, if his 2026 results are reasonable, profiles as a solid #3 SP. I do expect some regression here perhaps to a 3.50 ERA.

HQ Arsenal report is not strongly enthusiastic, proofing Hancock at the bottom of the top 50, a back of the rotation SP for fantasy purposes. If that is a reasonable projection, I can get that in the draft next year. However, if Hancock is better than this, he is likely to be a valuable keeper. With 20 teams and 12 keepers an ADP of 150 to 200 becomes valuable.

Pull the trigger? or decline?

You're right, Arsenal Report wasn't strongly enthusiastic, but didn't pan him either. He's showing good command, combined with the home park that will play plenty well even if he isn't striking out 14 guys an outing. I'd probably make the deal. If you're happy with a mid-3's ERA guy, I think he can deliver that.

They're both kind of a mess right now, in slightly different ways. Tough to stomach either one in their current form, though. We're past the time of year when you just blindly hold on to ratio killers like this. If you have alternatives, take 'em...

Vinnie seems like he's coming around this week. Still want to see the K's go down, that's been uncharacteristic for him.

I wouldn't be starting Scholtens in Boston in a 15-teamer. Then again, the Sox can't hit.

12 team 5 category OBP league. I’ve been offered Teoscar for Soler. Yes or no. Also is there a chance Rushing is traded so there is more PT in his future?

I don't think they trade Rushing anytime soon. Maybe at the deadline, more likely in the offseason.

I've been saying in these chats for a few weeks that I'm worried about Teoscar. Soler is at least hitting, but you never know when he's going to break. Pick your poison.

I'd drop Cowser first, I don't know why he isn't in the minors if they aren't going to play him (and to be fair, he doesn't deserve to play right now, the way he's hitting.)

Hi Ray!  10-team NL-only 4x4 with no bench, which makes streaming SPs tough, because I can't just bench someone, I have to cut them.  I have three good SPs on the IL until June, and right now I am white-knuckling with not one but two Rockies SPs, Dollander and Sugano.  Dollander has a two-start week, Sugano has a -1.7 matchup score (against PHI).  Should I cut either one of these for someone like Junk or Henderson or Canning?  Or should I ride the COL pitchers a little longer and cut someone like Brady Singer (0.0)?  Thanks!

Two COL SP is too scary for me. I know it snowed in COL last week, but it's about to warm up there and the ball will start flying. I'd dump Sugano, take a look at Dollander a bit longer. Canning and Henderson are both fine adds.

What is up with Taylor Ward? His bat speed is down 2 mph from 2025 and ranks in bottom 6%. Brl% is down from 14% to 6% and he has just 1 HR in 174 plate appearances.

Weird one... plate skills are way up, both bb% and ct%. But quality of contact is way down. Not that I want to say good things about the Angels, but looks a little bit like new team/new hitting coach have him a bit messed up.

I don't think Kike's really a problem, but it's basically Freeland vs. Kim for the 2B job when Mookie comes back. Maybe we hear from Edman at some point, maybe not.

Velocity was way up in his last outing. SwK% has been up for the last couple of outings. It does look like he's getting right, finally. Worth an add, but don't hold on too long if he goes sideways again.

How excited should I be that Robby Snelling has been called up to start? I play in 10 team scoresheet dynasty league. My starting four SP: Christopher Sanchez; Jesus Luzardo; Nolan McLean; Eury Perez. My fifth SP has been a fluctuating and frustrating choice between: Bubba Chandler; Shane Baz; Andrew Painter. Who do you recommend that I lock into as my #5 SP now that Snelling is up? Thanks for your shared wisdom.

I think you've got another good option there, but I don't see any reason to lock in on one of them. Play matchups, or at least be ready to keep adjusting.
