Maddening group for sure. I think Lewis' ability to on heaters makes him the one you regret dropping. But I wouldn't blame you for giving up on any of these.

Hi Ray, some batters seem to start rebonding. Please rank you favorites among the following for ROS: mcmahon, mccarthy, collins, gelof, bleday, duran, ozuna. Thank you
Ray Murphy
12:42
I like most of these. Probably most interested in Gelof, Ozuna, Bleday, McCarthy.

Hi Ray, what do you think about all Wyatt Langford nagging injuries. At his age, he should know how to exercise and stretch to be a baseball player, and not an IL renter. Is he mishandle by Texas team,  or not disciplined enough? Maybe he isn't the most thawed pogo (corn dog) in the box? Have you seen him in interviews to be able to judge? Thank you
Ray Murphy
12:43
This generally isn't reflective of how I think about these things. Some guys are injury prone for sure, and Langford is absolutely on that list at this point... he's there until he's not. But the part where you lose me is suggesting that it's some kind of a character flaw. I don't think we know nearly enough about these guys to suggest that.

Hi Ray,  10 Team NL Only.  I keep waiting for TJ Rumfield to fall apart so I can dump him for returning IL players, but he keeps hitting.  What should I do?  Thanks
Ray Murphy
12:47
You don't mention who the returning guys are, but... Rum's not exactly lighting the world on fire. Nice filler if you've been riding him waiting for an IL return, he's perfect for that. But then I think you thank him for his service and move on.

Morning Ray, mixed h2h cats lg that cuts about 270 players into the pool. Seems like every big auction purchase i made (Gunnar, Tucker, Jazz, Rooker, Soderstrom), is off to slow starts. I know better days are ahead for this group but i am strongly feeling the urge to trade pitching for a contact/speed guy to supplement my core group moving forward. The hitter FA pool seems light across all formats this year. Think I should push forward and make a splash or hold onto my SPs (Joe Ryan, Cease, Eury, Soriano) bc the pitching pool can only get shallower as the season progresses? Thanks!
Ray Murphy
12:49
I still worry about durability with Soriano, so if you want to sell high on him to boost you're offense, I'd support that. Kind of doubting you get much for Ryan/Eury right now.

In a h2h league.  I have Fried, Kirby, Sandy A, Mason M, Palencia, Chapman and Tolle starting.  I am holding on to Chandler, Jared Jones, Leiter, Bryce Miller and Hunter Brown.  Someone dropped Bieber.  Do I replace any of these with Bieber or a potential player who may get called up?
Ray Murphy
12:50
I think you can dump Chandler for Bieber. Seems like Chandler's on the path to getting sent down to find his command.

NL only. I have Brenton Doyle and I am getting weary of his non-production. HYesong Kim (LA), Tyler Black and Curtis Mead are all available. How would you rank the three?
Ray Murphy
12:51
Mentioned Kim above, if he keeps playing he's the pick here. I'm pretty interested in Mead, though, he's been productive and slowly picking up PT there as a result.

Who will have more fantasy valuable ROS:  Tolle or Snelling?
Ray Murphy
12:52
Tolle's already having some success in the majors. We haven't seen Snelling do that yet. Take Tolle for now.

Wrobleski, sell high or hold?
Ray Murphy
12:53
36 IP, 15 K/10 BB. That shouldn't yield a 1.25 ERA/1.00 WHIP. Sure, the team context is great. But sell high if you can.
DrDave
12:53
Rank 'em...Gabe Moreno, Adrian Del Castillo, Carson Kelly.  I have the first two but Kelly is an attractive waiver piece.
Ray Murphy
12:53
Moreno, Kelly, ADC.
Harrison
12:54
When does Harrison Bader return to MLB?  Is he likely to be at full steam or could there be adverse effects initially? Couldn't see anything on this in Big Hurt, IIRC.
Ray Murphy
12:54
He's on a rehab assignment, would assume he's activated by early next week, if not today.

12:55
Hi Ray! In a 12 team H2H points league. Is it crazy to drop Bibbe or Baz for Max Meyer?
Ray Murphy
12:55
Brent was telling me how good Meyer looked vs. the Phillies last outing. Not crazy.
Jon Snow
12:55
Hey Ray, put Roman on the IL and need some OF/Util help in 12 team mixed roto.  Any of these names do anything for you on the wire, in ranked order? A Vaughn, A Barger, Gelof, EZ Duran, I Collins, Brice Matthews
Ray Murphy
12:55
Good options, and Anthony should be back by next weekend. Check the schedules, see who has tasty matchups for the next couple of series.
JB

Views on Jose Tena.
Ray Murphy
12:56
I'd rather speculate on Mead if we're talking part-time Nats hitters.

12:56
Hi Ray: tired of seeing zeros and ones in the Matchup Tool for Bradish and Bubba.  Time to cut bait in my mixed 12 team roto?  Think I'd have better luck streaming?
Ray Murphy
12:56
Bubba, it's time for sure. Bradish, we're getting there too.
Tom Tresh
12:57
What are your thoughts on Christian Scott going forward and how do you see him doing against the Tigers. Is he a streamer or more a keeper?
Ray Murphy
12:57
I'm hopeful but not saying anything declarative yet. Detroit will be a good test.

Dear Ray - there's something rotten in SF.  I've been keeping Chapman and Adames on my bench in roto and dropped Chapman in a 10 teams points league.  Signs of life for either of those guys or that lineup?
Ray Murphy
12:59
Adames in particular is just an absolute mess, not that Chapman is much better. As you note, that whole lineup is lost. Hitting coach on the hot seat, I assume?

OK, didn't quite get through the whole queue, but my hour is up. Thanks for the good questions, enjoy all the ball this weekend. Brent will be here on Monday to deal with all of the overreactions to whatever Robby Snelling does tonight. :) Later!
