Do you think Aaron Mcgee will lead Canevin to another championship in the future? Not necessarily this season. Palmosina is a winner and I think his coaching tree will also be full of winners

I have no idea. Aaron seems like a good guy. You want to know what will impact his success? If he has players. Haven't seen a great coach yet who didn't have good players.

Nobody knows these stories because either nobody asks the person in charge or we don't know who is in charge.  These are stories impacting fans, players, coaches, and schools.  I feel like people should stand behind decisions and communicate the facts with people like you (Mike).

Well Rob, I can tell you that we do reach out to all people involved in these stories -- coaches and some administrators. They either don't respond at all or say they can't respond. What else can we do?

Deer Lakes or Mohawk will win 3A. I tend to lean Mohawk. I think it is their year. Wrona and Fadden are a really tough 1-2 punch. 3A is open though. Wouldn't be shocked if someone else made a ton  of noise.

We had Mohawk as No. 1 in preseason. Lost some games early but are now coming on.

Maleek Thomas from LP recently missed a game against Central Valley for a college visit.  If you were his coach, would that upset you?

In a word, yes. But really, I'm not surprised. On one hand, it is only one game. On other hand, does it tell you where priorities lie? What if suddenly five other players wanted to skip games to go on a trip? Well, Meleek went, why can't I? There would be plenty of time to make trips in the future. Also, I've heard many times players go on a college trip right after their game. And you know what? Shame on Auburn, too. They could've said, "No, you shouldn't miss your game." But you think Auburn cares about him missing his high school game? Heck no. They simply want to get him.
