You wrote about some of the schools on the cusp of moving up or down in clasification, looking at the last cycle wouldnt TJ boys hoops b close to going down to 4A?? I believe the cutoff for 5A is 320 boys and last cycle TJ HAD 300

Honestly, I don't know because I don't have TJ's enrollment numbers for next cycle. I only had some of the numbers.

What are the rules against players of one high school practicing with other schools at open gyms prior to the season?  This seems to be a violation that the usual suspects partake in.  This has to be a form of recruiting.  Right?

You're not supposed to go to open gyms at another school until you are enrolled at that school.

Mike, I remember the 2006 Shenango incident very well.  I see Rocco from time to time and we always reminisce about his high school days, some of his games of which I officiated.  The situation back in 2006 reflected badly on the father, and rightfully so.  Rocco, I'm sure (as a 17 year old), had no idea the ramifications of the incident.  The Shenango coach at the time, is still coaching high school football.  He's an honorable man and an excellent coach.  I truly believe he did not watch the tape of the Mars practice.

Oh, I don't think he watched it, either. So what. Doesn't take away from one of the craziest parent stories ever. And I don't blame Rocco at all.

Did you see stories last week? She won a preliminary injunction to coach. Remains to be seen if they get permanent injunction.

We're the best team in the Northeast, next to Allderdice, like the crazy guy keeps putting on this chat this week. With any kind of coaching, we will be the No. 1-ranked ninth grade team in the country. Is 9th grade basketball in the next Olympics?

I bet you could write a book full of crazy stories you have seen or heard about parents or school board members. I have done business with school districts for 30 years and believe me, WM guy isn’t the only nut job board member.
