Kind of grumpy this morning Mike? The North Hills playoff question is fair to ask, they've had some playmakers pass through the past several years (Tyler Brennan, Dickerson, Melvin, etc) and no playoff wins to show for it.  Can't all be blamed on the talent.

But every year they've lost in playoffs, it has been to a much better team or one that is at least as good as them. Yes, maybe they could've won one or two, but it's not like they've been a lot better than the opposing team.

Crazy Moon game last week offense wasn’t to impressive. How do you think they come out with the win this week.

Just because you don't score a lot of points in a playoff game doesn't mean you aren't impressive. Moon's defense was certainly impressive. As for this week, they will do "their thing." Play power football. Try to establish won. Play physical. Thing is, Penn-Trafford plays the same way. I think whoever completes a big pass or two might win.

Why thank you Football fan 21. Yes, we will continue them through basketball. I think even more basketball fans might listen. ESPN has been in contact with both myself and Brad Everett about taking it nationally. Our agents are negotiating. But it's not about the money. It's just about being blessed to work with such fine men as Mr. Everett and Mr. Rotstein.

Mike, obviously you know Bob Palko quite well to provide some insight on him. Watching him far afar and seeing and reading his interviews, that guy seems to be about a lot more than a good X’s and O’s coach. Kids will be kids and social influences have changed but how he handles them seems to command their respect. Not always an easy task to accomplish year after year.

You hit it right on the nose, Coach O. He is one of the greatest in WPIAL history in any sport. I don't know what "it" is with coaches, but he certainly has "it." He didn't need validation as a coach. But winning it with another team in the largest classification took him to another level. Some store on Route 30 had a sign in lights Saturday, calling him the "GOAT." He's certainly on the Mount Rushmore. But he needs to improve that golf game.

Of course Beaver Falls can beat Serra. In fact, Beaver Falls is my pick. People forgot about them after an 0-3 start. But losses were to Blackhawk, Aliquippa and Laurel. Then the Tigers found themselves. I say if they win, Nick Nardone is a good candidate for coach of the year. But please. Serra isn't overlooking anyone.
