They are not consdering it at all. Even talked to coach Roth about it last week. What's wrong with them staying where their enrollment places them. Truth be told, they aren't far away from being a Class 1A school.

Love the question I saw about what back court duo is the best you have seen from WPIAL.  Comparing Thomas and Cummings from Lincoln Park.  I loved watching Morton and Carney and also back in the day Young and Pagley from new Castle.

Easy on Thomas and Cummings being the best ever. Yes, they are very good, but let's wait a little on the best ever. I mean you don't realize what some of the duos were like back in the 60s and 70s. Heck, that Ambridge team in 1967 had Wuycik and DeVenzio. One went to North Carolina and the other to Duke. More recently D.J. Kennedy and DeAndre Kane. They were pretty darn good at major colleges. I could give you some more. Yes, Thomas and Cummings are really good, but not exactly ready to put the best ever tag on them yet.

Love that kid. In the fall, I would see him playing fall league basketball games at North Allegheny - coming right from soccer practice. Not many kids willing to do that. I love his story.

Officially, Mimi Theiro had 28 points for Quaker Valley against Freedom. Unofficially, I counted 23 rebounds (I kept track). MaxPreps has her averaging 14 rebounds per game. Unable to find game by game numbers.

Do you know when schools have to declare they are/are not taking a wpial schedule for football?  Big rumors on multiple teams bailing out......WPIAL should not give them a schedule for any sport if they do
