How about the Carlynton girls turnaround 7-15 last year and 18-4 this year. They have always had a great program but it’s amazing how in one year the same team responded to a new coaching staff. What are their shots in playoffs?

Did you see Allerdice/Mt. Lebo?   The scrawny pg for Lebo is quite good.  Only 11 points i think but did a great job pressuring the ball and handling the ball.  I'm not familiar with Lebo but was a little surprised that they were the team bringing the full court pressure. I thought the Dice should've punched it inside more. They did for a stretch in the 3rd quarter and Lebo really had trouble keeping them off the boards.  Any thoughts on that game?  Who is the best defensive team in 6A?

Hi Mike, Why isn’t there more buzz about how good McKenna Marisa (Peters)  is in the local media? She is something special! She can score and average 40 if she wanted to. Her best attributes are her unselfishness and her Defense!

Really? We did a gigantic story on her right before season with pictures. She has been written about other times. What more do you want? Besides there is still playoffs.

Can anyone down there in the WPIAL contend with Kennedy? I’d say no, including the City League. Allderdice is good, but I don’t think anyone can touch KC. Do you think any WPIAL team (or Dice) can beat Kennedy?

Would be shocking for Kennedy to lose to Allderdice or anyone from WPIAL. They would have to play terribly. Still, they'd probably win. Just too many ways to beat you. Now a game against Eastern Pa. team might be different. Like a Roman Catholic.
