Can't go control for everyone.  Those guys are mostly unproven.  Kiermaier, Ji-Man Choi, Austin Hedges are lost cost guys with certainty.  I'd also add Travis Shaw and Wade Miley for trade bait.

In my opinion, one year of Shaw or Miley has no real trade value.  This is taking place in the offseason, guys of that caliber should be available in free agency.

I would think someone like Evan Longoria could be used as a "face of the franchise" type guy.  Yes, he doesn't have much upside and is expensive, but he could sell interest in your team.  No one is going to come see a glorified AAA team with a bunch of prospects.
