Of course, it could become moot if the CBA changes the service structure
Matt
4:00
Hey Anthony, what are some moves you think the Guardians could make this offseason
Anthony Franco
4:00
We all liked Cleveland as a fit for Mark Canha. They'll need to bolster the outfield in some way, at least
4:01
Could see them looking into a trade for a catcher. They'll probably try to bolster the back of the rotation for cheap too. Maybe sign a Rich Hill type
Jud Fabian
4:02
What round will I be picked next year ?
Anthony Franco
4:02
Really depends on how often he strikes out. If he comes out and makes a lot more contact than he did last season, I could see him winding up back in the top 20
4:03
But if he strikes out at 25% clip or something like that, he's probably in the third or fourth round. Somewhere similar to where the Cubs got Christian Franklin this year would be my guess

What does the OF next to Harper look like in Philly next year?
Anthony Franco
4:04
I love them as a fit for Starling Marte, since they need a CF badly and Dombrowski's already on record as saying they want better production out of the leadoff spot
4:05
If they get Marte, that probably means a cheaper flier in LF. Tommy Pham, maybe somebody who gets non-tendered elsewhere
Tyler
4:05
Could Sonny Gray bring back a top 100 prospect? Maybe a Heliot Ramos type of player?
Anthony Franco
4:05
I think that's a reasonable goal, yeah
Trevor Story
4:05
What is my market and where do you see me going?
Anthony Franco
4:07
We like him at five or six years well above $100MM. Yankees, Tigers, Phils, Astros, Rangers, Cardinals could all be in
Ryan Zimmerman
4:07
I'm playing in 2022 but for whom?
Anthony Franco
4:07
Hard for me to see a situation where he plays for someone other than Washington
GM Mike Rizzo's already on record that they'd give him a guaranteed roster spot if he wants it. I imagine it's Nats or retirement there
Gammons
4:08
Who are some of your favorite Baseball scribes ? Gammons is the best, just wish I could still read his stud
Anthony Franco
4:09
I really only started reading baseball content regularly like five or six years ago, so a lot of the way I see the game is shaped by newer school writers
I loved everything Jeff Sullivan did at FanGraphs before he went to the Rays. I read anything Eno Sarris puts out at the Athletic
4:11
That's no slight against Gammons or anyone of his ilk, to be clear. But I wasn't following baseball closely enough to be super familiar with his work when he was regularly on the beat
Alright everyone, that's all I have time for today
We were pushing 1000 people in the chat today, so obviously I couldn't get to everything I'd have liked
4:12
We've looked into the chat data and you're about 10 times more likely to have your question answered in the Front Office subscriber only chats
4:13
So if you're interested in that, here's the link to sign up for an MLBTR membership. It comes with other extra content as well, to be clear
You can also reach me on Twitter @affranco10 and I'll be happy to answer stuff there

Have a good week, we'll do this again next Wednesday!
