They'll have to do something but no indication it's a priority. Ben Gamel?

Um Tyler wells was excellent in the first half.  What are you talking about
Anthony Franco
6:48
He's fine as a depth guy or swing type. Don't think he needs a season-opening rotation spot on a hopeful contender
Pick Me

Adam Frazier seems like someone the BoSox now would target. How come he's getting no love?
Anthony Franco
6:48
He was bad in Seattle
6:49
He'll land somewhere on an MLB deal but he's not going to be anyone's top target after hitting .238/.301/.311
Chris Young

I’ve been quiet lately… too quiet. What’s my next move? Outfield or more pitching?

Left field feels like the priority now. I'm guessing they'll be in on Benintendi once that market starts to pick up

What would it take for the angels to get Adames? Would a package around guys like Quero, Bush, and/or Guzman work?
Anthony Franco
6:52
Milwaukee doesn't seem interested in trading Adames
Who Says No?
6:52
Glasnow for Gorman and Carlson.
Anthony Franco
6:54
Probably both teams? I'd rather have Gorman/Carlson than Glasnow, but trading him would be a terrible look for Tampa Bay after they signed him to an extension four months ago and he spoke about how motivated he was to stick around
Swanson
6:54
Why is he getting so much talk/money? 95 ops plus hitter, slightly above average defender, doesn’t scream 20+ mm per year type of player
Anthony Franco
6:55
He's better than you're giving him credit. He's a well above-average defender in my book, and the career 94 wRC+ is in large part because he was a really bad hitter for his first two seasons
6:56
He has a 109 wRC+ over the past three years and plays plus shortstop defense. He's very similar to where Story and Báez were last year, and they both got paid

Who is the best free agent pitcher remaining outside of rodon

Eovaldi

Gallo to Oakland?

They have the at-bats to offer. Fly ball approach probably plays down a bit in that park, but I can see it if he just wants the clearest path to everyday playing time in left field
Would allow them to move Seth Brown back to first and DH for the most part
Trade market

Anything I should be watching for besides Jays catchers, Dbacks OFs, Marlins SPs, and Yankees infielders?

I think the Twins are going to shake up their outfield. I expect Kepler to go and could see them dealing Larnach if it gets them a player with less upside but a more established MLB track record
Alright that's all I have time for tonight, have to help Darragh with some of the transactional write-ups from the past hour
7:02
Thanks for all the questions. Apologies as always for the stuff I couldn't cover
I'm on Twitter @affranco10 if you want to throw anything me there
I also do a weekly chat exclusive to Front Office subscribers where you're far more likely to get a response with fewer people asking questions
7:03
Our memberships also come with weekly posts from Steve and myself on various topics. I offered my thought on the Murphy deal on Monday, and Steve's writing about what's next for the Twins after missing out on Correa tonight
7:04
You can find more about our memberships here if that's of interest
Have a good night! We'll do this again next week
