Umps Are Blind
10:29
Cubs or Pittsburgh 3rd place in NL central?
Simon Hampton
10:29
Close, lean Cubs but not by much
Pittsburgh a more exciting team to watch though

10:30
final al east standings
Simon Hampton
10:30
Yankees, Toronto, Tampa, Boston, Baltimore
Youngblood
10:31
So you are not on the Baltimore Bandwagon?
Simon Hampton
10:32
I really hoped Baltimore would be a bit more aggressive this winter. I'm not saying they'll be awful, but I think they'll be in that 78-82 win territory, and don't think there's a truly bad team in the AL East
Jordan
10:32
AL West Predictions?
Simon Hampton
10:32
Astros, Mariners, Angels, Rangers, Athletics
Brewers world series (then wake up)
10:33
If Brewers are blowing away the Cardinals at the trade deadline, do you think there is even a slight chance they push in to try and win it all? (I.e. expensive rental)
Simon Hampton
10:34
It doesn't feel like their MO. In this scenario, I do think it'd make a trade of Burnes or Woodruff almost a certain no. They'll look for upgrades, but doubt they'll trade away top prospects for rentals
Youngblood
10:34
AL Central finish?
Simon Hampton
10:34
We are going to get through all of them aren't we? Guardians, Twins, White Sox, Royals, Tigers
Dodgers Fan
10:36
Who is the prime candidate for the 5th rotation spot for the Dodgers after Gonsolin is out?
Simon Hampton
10:36
Think Pepiot would have to be the favorite there
NL East finish?
10:36
What about the NL East
Simon Hampton
10:36
Mets, Atlanta, Phillies, Marlins, Nationals

10:36
How do you see the NL West finishing?
Simon Hampton
10:37
Padres, Dodgers, Diamondbacks, Giants, Rockies
Ted
10:37
Time for the NL Central
Simon Hampton
10:37
Cardinals, Brewers, Cubs, Pirates, Reds

10:39
how much does teoscar getting traded effect the jays
Simon Hampton
10:40
They got a pretty nice reliever as part of that deal! But I think their outfield still stacks up pretty nicely with Springer, Varsho and Kiermaier, with potential there to upgrade it at the deadline if necessary
Robby
10:40
How bout a World Series prediction after all these division predictions? Anything bold?
Mike
10:40
Are we going through NPB predicted finishes also?
Simon Hampton
10:41
Ha, no to the NPB, KBO or any other leagues. World Series prediction changes every day at the moment, but I think I'll go with the Padres v Yankees at the moment. Think both teams will have a bit of urgency at the deadline to improve as well
Mike
10:41
Which anticipated MLB debut player(s) are you most excited to watch this season?
Simon Hampton
10:42
Volpe and Grayson Rodriguez, and also Endy Rodriguez if he makes it
Lt Data
10:43
IKF for Brent Suter, who says no?
Simon Hampton
10:43
Rockies say no
Mike
10:44
Will the A’s have the worst record in MLB this season? Are they trying to follow the plot of the movie “Major League?”
Simon Hampton
10:45
Don't think they'll be great but would have the Rockies and Nationals below them
We Are The World
10:46
Cubs need 2nd southpaw reliever. Is the solution already in ST with them out on the open market?
Simon Hampton
10:46
I would not be surprised if they were one of the teams taking a look at Zack Britton
Chet Lemons
10:46
With what we’ve seen this spring, is Oscar Colas the starting RF for CWS?
Simon Hampton
10:46
Signs are pointing to him making the roster, yep
Seth
10:47
Will Bryan Reynolds (regardless of trade) have a bounceback 2023?
Simon Hampton
10:48
I think so. He was still very good last year, but it'd be interesting to see how another ~3 WAR season affected his trade value
MoonBeamMcSwine
10:49
Does Ivan Herrera journey to the ML's have to take a detour to someplace other than St Louis?
Simon Hampton
10:50
He looks very much like a trade candidate at this point, yes. Don't think there's immediate urgency on the starting pitching front for St Louis, but perhaps at the deadline he's part of a deal to beef up their rotation for '23 and beyond
