Mmm, perhaps. While I found their off-season to be confusing, there's still a lot of quality on that roster. Think Boston and Baltimore will be pretty close together

Strong year from Gray and Gore in the rotation, Ruiz taking a big step forward and Abrams locking down the SS spot. Also Dom Smith rebounding and turning himself into a trade candidate. Wouldn't worry too much about the overall record of the team

I would always go for the catcher here - Sanchez would be an easy pick to go straight onto an active roster if a team needs a catcher

STL question. Think Walker is breaking camp? He's raked, but TON and DC seem to have bounced back as well, if WBC stats count for anything with TON. At least Dylan can touch rhp. Noots going to get every chance as well, as much as I want to see him embarrassing central division pitching, I'm not sure where they put him. But he doesn't look like he has much to prove.

I agree with this pretty much. Would love to see Walker there, but they don't have an obvious immediate need for him and while he's done well in the spring, he hasn't spent any time at Triple-A, so I think he winds up there for the first month

Nah, think the Pirates will give him at least half the season at Triple-A. If he rakes like last year he'll be up sometime in the summer though

What are the odds Angels trade Ohtani? I’m guessing they keep him if they have even the smallest chance at the playoffs

I agree -- would be a tough pill to swallow for ownership, front office and fans if they were to trade him, so think they'd have to be well out of the race with no chance of re-signing him for a trade to happen. I think they'll be in the hunt, so not expecting an Ohtani deadline deal
